Just a tip, you have 2 ore inventory slots just below the auto collect check box. They do not fill automatically when you are connected to a ship so drag and drop 2 stacks for extra slots.

I saw on a what you should know video that the Sunny ship center has ships that only require materials from near the stations. The other ship stores might require you to visit the further pvp zone to get all the materials or buy them from the auction house.

It is far easier to make your own ship compared to buying an already completed ship. The rarer metals are used to create accessories that you won't really use anyway; upgrade the starter ship with more storage and boosters and it'll be almost the same.

I found out that if you hit 'U' and bring up the screen. put your crosshair on the mineral/ore you will tell what is inside without wasting time cracking it.

@@UltimatePerfection nope it wount be patched its an offical feature. Also for bigger ships there is a recource scanner.

It’s way more profitable to sell ores on the auction house (by pressing comma) even ajatite which is what the grey asteroids are made of is 4K per stack

@@BlackbirdM3 some areas may not have all the materials, so buying is safer than risking an underpowered ship on a excessively long journey for only a partial stack of an ore that’s more available somewhere else.

Couple of things I noticed being a backseat driver. There is a box at the top of the material requirments called "Use Station Storage" Maybe clicking on that? Also there where more buttons around the seat in the cockpit of the ship you want.

One of the trailers on Steam showed a ship crash landing on a planet and the crew walking around on the planet. Apparently we can/will be able to land on planets. My ship was pulling slightly to one side too. I saw another video that said the ships have to be balanced to fly right so the cargo location would probably make a difference too. Two engines with the cargo pods in the middle might solve it too.

when they opened early access they disabled landing on the planets (and moons) until the servers stabilized. but I'm so looking forward to when you can search for mineral deposits on the planets/moons and do miningrigs

Z1's thrusters and cargo units are balanced, it was just that some ores are heavier than others.

That ship you want there are buttons on the floor right next to the seat on both the left and right sides. One on the right side labeled "Floorout" I believe . Can't read the other one you are too fast. But you seem to have not noticed those buttons. Also, look (put crosshairs on) the Generator start button and press U. I believe that gives you can option to adjust your power output from the generator so you use less power (fuel). I think it has been mentioned that the starter ship can run on 25% power output from the generator. So that you do not waste a bunch of power.

Z1 if you need just 1 stack of a rare material then you can press the. . Button and open the auction House this then let's you buy ores you might not have

Easy build mode Requires the Build area on the Station, not in orbit of the station. Also simple not when selling your mined ore's There is a little button on the bottom of the list that says "Sell All", incase you don't want to keep any of the supplies you have in station.

hey you shouldn't sell nurghite because it is used in making fuel rods, and refilling then, so you should just keep it in your station storage. but great video and great ship choice, it's a good ship.

they re moons 🙂, you need to add a component to your ship in order to use the warp gate, it will take you to one of the moons in much less than the hours it will take you without using the warp gate

There is actually buildings in the port that you can go to and earn money. A "job" so to speak. Whether it be dismantling ships for cash or breaking up asteroids in the port. You get paid for your work.

looking forward to playing this but 2 major issues. 1: bugs. done with early access. i'm waiting for the game to be ironed out before clicking buy. 2: i was REALLY looking forward to a joystick flyer... and considering that doesn't work. no thanks. hopefully that gets fixed/patched to function.

There is a market auction offer/demand regulated buy player where price are way better overall. Everything but the Charodium sell for more then the tower price.

the little i've seen on your videos, it seems that the server/s may need more ram, seen too many games where that simple addition would fix things tremendously.... optimization in general may help too... and dare i say a code rewrite to use OpenGL instead of DirectX, as OpenGL uses far less resources both in graphics and CPU... unless they are using a custom engine, at which point the engine should be better in theory.... as for making money, this early in the game if you unlock those fuel cores and make your own, first it saves buying them in auction, second you could make extras to sell in auction yourself... just a thought... also it seems research points gained is based on what you build.. thinking those fuel cores would raise up your yellow research quick...

You're paying for the blueprint, not the ship. In the future (if they haven't yet) the creator of the ship, station you build it on and .....(I don't remember) is supposed to get a percentage of the money from the purchase. (so the station that builds it get something like 60% then the person that submitted the ship (faction/org) gets 40%, or something like that. plus if you check the little box at the top it uses pre crafted parts that you have made( or pirated) and stored in the station cargo and in the future its supposed to become cheaper the more pre made parts you use
