Belgium did not allow Germany to go through their country to invade France. Did Belgium let France go through it' country to counter attack Germany? Unfortunately I don't know much about WWI. I think Germany could have won after Russian pulled out of the war in 1917 b/c of the Bolshevik revolution. But the USA entering the war against Germany reluctantly changed that.

For the vast majority of WW1 Belgium was occupied by Germany. The only area of Belgium not occupied was part of Flanders around the town of Ypres. There were several major battles here in WW1 but little ground was gained by either side and they remained stuck in the horror of trench warfare for the majority of the war from 1914 to 1918. What remained of the Belgium military was joined by Britain, The British Empire (ie Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa), France and in 1917 the USA to try to liberate their country. I have another video on my KZbin channel on my Great Uncle who was in the Canadian Army in WW1 and was killed during the 3rd Battle of Ypres. If you are interested you will find it at kzbin.info/www/bejne/ronOhauIjNyMosk. Cheers, Robert T. Fleming

What’s a solid price for a reproduction? $20-$30?????

What a ¨Solid¨ price for a reproduction regimental beer stein will vary from individual to individual, but speaking for myself, a price in the range of $50 to $60 US would be where I’d have a interest in buying a stein & I’d expect to pay almost that much again in shipping should I buy the stein online. Also I buy to collect not as an investment, not to say I’d not sell should I wish to thin out my collection later on, but I would not be surprised should a lose a bit on the sale. I’ve gone a bit higher than the range stated for Regimental beer steins I’ve particularly have been looking for to add to my collection, but very rarely and also well under $100 US. I’ve seen reproduction beer steins for sale on eBay for 100s of dollars that I bought an almost identical one for well under a $100 so there are sellers out there that think they own the crown jewels. What one seller wants $100s for, another seller may only want under $50 so keep your eyes open and not be in a rush to jump on a super expensive item. Some advice I received many years ago from an aunt who was a avid art collector was, buy at a level you can afford to lose a bit of money should the value of the item go down later. That way you have an item you’ll enjoy, if it’s value goes up later, it’s a bonus but if it goes down, you’ll not put yourself in a bad financial spot. I hope this helps.
