Landis Legacy Farm LLC is a pasture raised meats and eggs operation, located on a 200 acre farm, 10 minutes from Blacksburg, VA. In addition to that, there's a pre-Civil War log house that's being remodeled on farm, a century-old covered bridge, as well as many structures to be built with lumber from our on farm sawmill.

Aww that is rough Josh it is a lot of work! We are getting geared up for taping and I am setting out tomorrow I am up near the top part of maine in Fredericton NB. We do about twenty five trees and just for ourselves I make pancakes and it is a nice accent we get about 8 liters of syrup a year and of course give some away to friends and family! How we learn fast from our mistakes! one year I put all our potatoes in a room and put black garbage bags on the windows to keep the light out as you have to let them dry some before storing some were in boxes and most were out over the floor the garbage bag fell down because the tape let go and all the potatoes turned green. Discouraging to say the least but we were able to keep them and plant them for seed so not a total lost! Great Job though people who are doing it will enjoy your content! Have a blessed day! Marc G.

Would have liked to see how the RO system worked. I know working with RO for water, its takes high pressure to push water through the membrane. You have to restrict the fluid being dumped to build enough pressure.

Could have come up with your own flavor of syrup. Any video on the barrel tipping and launching the lid? You still should come up with a lot of syrup if the rest of the season goes well. Thanks Josh, enjoyed it.

Who knows, maybe you were on to something...I know the maple industry uses bourbon barrels so maybe...🤣 A channel in Southern NH (Kalevala South Farm) just put in a RO system, he is usually around 2% but this year his sap went down to 1 and below.
