When the lad lifted the hatch I could smell the mould and stale oil. Power of suggestion.

Always great to see your kit being used to help move other kit. Reminds me of the Aldershot Tattoo days when they'd do all sorts of things that modern H&S would have a fit over.

When you started the 434 up I had flashbacks to exercises on salta, sennelager and various other areas. On suggestion it to fit a second tow hook to the front ov your 434 makes it simpler to push stuff around

Our 434 had a tent in the back and was VM territory while our 432 was used by the Tiffy and the ECE. Great days!

The engineering that went into something like a Centurion MBT was amazing for its day.

At the start of your video checking in your van before setting out to Mr Hewes, you mentioned everything but the most important piece of kit, without which no British Armoured vehicle could be considered serviceable, the BV or Boiling Vessel that you had perched on something in the back of your van, back in the early 1980's as a my Sections 432 Driver (2RGJ, 11 Armd Bde) in Minden, Germany, these had to be working before we went anywhere, otherwise my life as the driver, would not be worth living! 😂🤣😆

Because Red Back Spiders love metal in Australia, there’s no way you’d climb into a tank like that here without spraying a can of insecticide first!

Interesting but I sure wouldn't want a foreigner to try understand the Queen's english, listening to these word bursts!
