They always put "NO STEP" on the obviously best places to step or stand... I'm pretty sure it's just an ongoing inside joke amongst engineers at this point... 🤨 😂👍

It's not like "no step" on a plane, where stepping on that area might put you through a hole. It's more like... "please don't step cause you might bend this and fall and break your neck".

Its amazing how many tools double up with secondary uses. For example the Scania accelerator pedal depress device doubles up as a piece of wood , and the warrior keep door open hand free mechanism doubles up as a shovel. Remarkable really.

Another great video. Green turret on the tan track. And my favorite bit was because last episode, when you brought the T-34 home and someone was like "they painted the road wheels!" Check out this tan track again.... Don't get me wrong, I did a lot of things that was not ideal to make my equipment look good. I just didn't give anyone guff about it. Armor Alling your rubber wheels? Not go for them, but damn, it looks great.

And that is a misconception. The freaky thing about England, in fact all of the mainland United Kingdom, is that it can go from baking sunshine, to cold and raining, and back again in mere moments, and does. We've had highs of 39°c in summer, and lowest I've felt was -17°c if you account for windchill in winter. It's a freaky place.

For the hand throttle in the Scania, don't use the piece of wood. Use cruise control on the left stick and it'll up your revs and hold them until a pedal is pressed. They then drop to standard tickover.

@aserta

The tracks are stuck, so it wouldn't help as much as it would and would probably damage the ropes. They're good for "mostly stuck" things. Source: i snapped one trying to pull a combine from a cave's opening. There's a sizable dent in my brother's fendt tri6 arse. edit: there used to be a "kinetic" wire back in the day. Huge coil spring hooked with two ends of cable through it, one one side going through, one on the other, doing the opposite. Those might work. Not as common as they used to be anymore and making one yourself is ... tricky.
