Being a huge Haunted Mansion fan, I ABSOLITLEY HATE the ezra in buggy funko pop. The mustache is painted very lazy, its not glow in the dark like a ghost should be, and there is a bunch of random black pecies of plastic on the back.

Old Hattie Oh yeah. They overprice the Disney Parks exclusives EVERY TIME, and sometimes, it’s worth it. Other times, like this, it’s a hard pass. I remember this Pop came out in a time where Funko was really milking the Parks exclusives, and I hope they don’t do it again. If you’re gonna make a Pop! Ride out of a classic Disney attraction, do it like Splash Mountain, not the Doom Buggy.

The trex pop pisses me off. I agree it’s a bad pop totally shoulder been bigger but with it the legs bend and the plastic warps when it’s kept oob and there are now stress marks where the legs joint on the pop. I put a toothpick under its jaw and glued it to the base so it could stand and thankfully it does. But still a dumb pop they made

In the shop I work in, we actually sell the Aquaman Pop 3:16 and it doesn't have the sticker on it. Looks like whoever is selling this is pulling a con with the 'exclusive' sticker. Always use caution when the term 'exclusive' or 'limited edition' is used.

Sorry for commenting on every other video i watch but I am loving this new channel. I do disagree with how heavily you weight an exclusive for being a slight variant at a con (but then I started back in 2013 with the Buffy exclusive and that is what all exclusives at cons were like this and as long as a con has a good mix of new stuff and slight variants I think Funko is doing a good job) but overall you make great points.

They did the GITD for the Rowan’s Ghost pop from the 2016 Ghostbusters, I bought the regular one because I didn’t want to pay the extra buck just so he could glow in the dark when I already had him

The Twinkie the Kid Pop and Chase seemed really annoying to me personally. I remember when it was announced, I thought they’d be easy to get, and that I wanted both. However, with NO announcement from Funko, these new Target exclusive Twinkie Pops released. THESE are what screwed me up. They were both glow in the dark, but the GITD common had the glam of the original Chase Twinkie, and the Chase had the glam of the original common. I thought, “ok, so they switched it up last moment.” But then they released the (non-GITD) common ones, the ones they had actually announced. And yes, the glams were still different from the Target ones. And as an insult to injury, most Targets only got one box full of their Twinkie Pops, and employees likely stole the Chases. The Pop is fine itself, but it was just annoying and unnecessarily so. Other than that, great list! I’ve been looking forward to it. And sorry about the brief tangent, I just thought something had to be said.

I feel like what you said about the Tyranosaurus Rex's size could also apply to Tamatoa from Moana, seeing how he's a giant crab that's at least 10x bigger than the main characters. Though, I will say that that one kinda needed the sideways box to be packaged, and the paint job is pretty interesting.

Nah laziest Chase of the year has to go to Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors, all they did was get some red paint and painted a little bit of it running down her mouth. It's a great Pop, well designed but the Chase is terrible, they shouldn't have bothered with a Chase at all in my opinion.

To be fair though, at least it's in character to Audrey II. He eats people. Of course there's gonna be blood. And I'm sure they did a Chase for him because he is a very popular character from the musical and movie. That being said, I do agree that the blood is rather sparce in the final product. They should've added more either coming from his mouth or some more blood splatter. Lazier than Darth Vader with a glowing candy cane, though? I doubt that. At least Audrey II's makes sense.

You've got a good point there. That likely would've been a good chase, especially for people that know about the musical's ending, bc I don't believe the movie ended like that. I just went by the logic that if it makes sense, it shows that you put at least a little care and thought into it. I saw absolutely no care taken into the Darth Vader chase though.

I believe the logic with the Darth Vader Chase is that the light-saber glows and so there for the candy cane glows, I do think their is logic to it. If you want an illogical Chase I point to Black and White Crash Bandicoot, he's never been like that in the game so it makes no sense.

My sister in law bought me the Harry Potter advent calendar, I got mini versions of Moaning Myrtle and Nearly Headless Nick- I was disappointed they didn’t glow. I love them, but I was surprised. Cheryl Blossom (Riverdale) doesn’t stand up. They put her in sloppy high heels, her hair on one side, she’s top heavy and will not stand. Oh well. I can display in the box.

I’m pretty sure these were released last year, but I’m gonna talk about them anyways. As a fan of Trollhunters, I was really excited to see they made a line of the characters. They made a few variants of some of the characters that were all very different and well-executed. However, there was a chase figure that was released that makes absolutely no sense. If you know the overall concept of the show, you would know the main character (Jim) has an amulet that gives him armor. While he has his armor on, the amulet is shown on his chest. The original figure has him with his armor holding his sword WITH the amulet on his chest which is accurate. This chase figure shows him with his armor WITHOUT the amulet on his chest. Instead, he’s holding it in his hand. Now, to someone who hasn’t seen the show and just wants it because it’s a chase, they probably wouldn’t care, but to anyone who has actually sat down and watched the show, it’s kind of odd to see this especially since there is another version of his without his armor on and holding it. I just think it was an awful execution and overall bad design.

They actually did it a few times. The Kingdom Hearts Mickey gid only has the key glowing, the Kingdom Hearts heartless gid only has the eyes glowing, and the Bigfoot gid only has the torch glowing 😖😖😖

I gotta stand up for my homies, but the Trex is fine for what it is, unless if you need that proper scale. Although I think more pops should come with figure stands, so something being top heavy is no longer a huge issue. It wouldn't even cause Funko a financial loss. The figure exists so that any average collector can get a Pop! of a T-rex can without spending too much.

Great video overall! I agree with a lot of those picks, especially that awful fish man. What happened?? The glam looked so good, and I was actually looking forward to that one. I'm glad to know what it really looks like so I don't waste my money on it. And as for Nearly Headless Nick, that makes me pretty mad, too. I happen to have the Bloody Baron, who also should have been GITD, but at least they didn't double-dip fans with that one. Doing that is rather annoying.

Plus the price tag is going to be higher if it is glow in the dark. The pigments that you use to make the material glow in the dark have to be bought as well and that is going to make it cost more to manufacture. The only way that people could justify that pop being sold for more is if it was exclusive.
