That NFT Leonardo is a great pick for this list. I remember seeing the physical pop be revealed and being shocked that it wasn’t a prototype paint job. It is possibly the farthest I have ever seen an in-person pop get from its “glam” product artwork. I would be devastated if I had pulled that NFT from the drop only to receive that. Especially disappointing when the number count on that pop is so low - no excuse to cut corners when it would cost very little to do it right.

TBT I'm getting kind of burnt out on Funko Pops. They look so nice when you're browsing online stores, but I've seen too many funkos that have very inferior paint applications (such as my blacklight BTAS Batman figure) or that are just vastly improved versions of previously bought funko pops that make me regret buying the old version in the first place.

That Tanjiro head swap from funko kind of happened before w the Captain Marvel series. I remember I personally head swapped the CM Walmart exclusive and Target exclusive because of the body and head glow features. Then like a month later the MCC box came w one of the two head swap pops. I was lowkey mad lol

I went to HT late in the day after the Tinkerbell dropped (I don't remember whether it was a restock or the initial drop. The sales assistant asked me would you be interested in the Tinkerbell chase (their it was sitting in front of the register). It was probably around 3:30 when I walked in. As you said a truly lazy chase. I landed up buying it bc I think I had a reward. Admittedly, I felt sorry for this piece of vinyl bc NOBODY wanted it. LOL

I picked up the ghost album. Didn't care how it looked I just really dig that album (their only good record imo). But you're right, had they kept the eyes off and not stretched the face and it would have been perfect.

mines not even the worst pop cause it is awesome but the worst experience finding it. I just got the President Loki with croki funko today because none of the targets near me had them, and I dont normally order online when it comes to target or walmart funkos but I came pretty close. Does not help that we still have Boastful Lokis here and the pop section is ALWAYS a mess and sometimes is split between two areas depending on the Target. I love the Pres Loki pop but I wished mine got them early like everyone elses. Dont get me started on any of the Barnes and Nobles near me, the one closest still had that 2019 Doctor Who con exclusive (the alien thing i forgot its name).

Yes, let's complain about the NFT pops but completely ignore the fact that you have to enter a similar lottery to get SDCC passes just to get the exclusives from that event. So one is ok, but the other isn't? I can live with NFT's over con exclusives. At least with NFT's I get a buyers chance.
