Hi there, I’m not new to production but new to Ableton. Long time Logic user now giving Ableton a try. Question, and I don’t know if this is a glitch or not but I am unable to loop my clips. I set the loop start and end from 1 to 17, click the loop button (it turns orange) but the playback just keeps going on after measure 17. Any idea what I may be doing wrong? Dude, I can't thank you enough. I don't use Ableton but I still learned a lot about music making process with this. The end about compressors helped me out big time! I've been struggling for a long time trying to understand compressors. I've read about them and watched videos and everyone would explain WHAT they are and HOW they work but you showed me WHY to use one. You gave a good practical example. Again, thanks!

I got a bit stuck early on in the lesson after the drum kit was selected and inserted as a new MIDI channel. I couldn't get the kick to map over and realized it takes a double click.
