it took me awhile to truly understand and appreciate FP Journe. for awhile there I thought it was just hype. what changed for me was the centigraphe. truly amazing piece. just to be able to pull something like this off, let alone have the idea in the first place... blows my mind. not a piece I'd like to own since I'm not attracted to it's looks but a piece I can appreciate. I have plans to own the chronometre bleu. this piece absolutely speaks to me. great vid. I enjoyed it!

Where's the piece unique kari voutilainen ? i thought that it'd be the last watch shown on the show!

I agree. A pity they did not even show a pic of that watch.

Great stuff, im tired of seeing people having 2 rolex gmts, a sub, a daytona, and an AP.

Ariaditya Pramestu I think a F.P. journey would be a wonderful addition to the collection you mentioned above (I’d only keep one Rolex), but not alone.
@511dydy6 жыл бұрын
@@AP-dd3xp Yes I agree, i mean, its a breath of fresh air to see someone have more than 1 journe in the collection along with other independents. Too many people have similar composition of rolexes, speedmasters, nautilus or aquanaut, or royal oaks. Some would add an skx in the mix. I mean, i love seiko, but why skx...

Great forum and program concept- . Its really insightful and also allot of fun to hear collectors explore how their passions developed , express their thoughts, ideas on collecting and their personal interests. Personal passions, preferences and tastes are true mysteries - talking about them leads to insight which is always a pleasure to obtain . These seem to be a combination of values, fantasy, imprinting and rationalization that lead to desire ,satisfaction, growth. Most fascinating is that they evolve change and even reverse. Thanks for a great show guys. 👍

Good dialogue and good discussion. You should throw this segment/content on open days during the week instead of repeat material. Watch content was stale with the usual Patek, FP, Rolex, and one Omega. Smaller independents mentioned, but still, more to choose from. Not everyone can start at Patek. So much history and so many brands to discuss. Open up the horology and history. Nicely done. 👍

George’s views and insights on the watch world and current trends are great. I would like to hear George talk about where he thinks things are going in general. What’ s next. George - what are your favorite brands and independents? Much thanks.

Journe bracelet is in red gold. Not rose gold.
@TheWoWBane4 жыл бұрын
That's interchangeable. Some call it rose, some call it red, but the 2 terms are for one and the same. Of course, the version of rose or red gold can depend, the shade, depending on who made it. But the term is for the same thing. You know that, you just wanted to seem smart saying it's not. Sad.
