the weaponization of c-section vs 'natural birth' by women will always baffle me. It truly makes me believe the women who look down on other women for having c-sections, literally have one personality trait and that is 'i gave birth, and now i'm a mother and have nothing else going for me.'

Adam: Fentanyl is a VERY common medication for pain in the hospital. In fact, my 13-year-old daughter was provided fentanyl when she broke her arm in the ER. It was a small dose appropriate for her size/weight. The medication is demonized in the media because it is very dangerous when used without the supervision of medical professionals, but like most medications, it has it's purposes. Fentanyl is always prescribed with Narcan while in the hospital due to the risk of accidental overdose. However, that is not what happens on the street. Plus, on the street, many people do not realize they are receiving fentanyl. It is usually a drug that is laced with fentanyl making it too powerful. Just thought I'd give some insight given your reaction to Trish saying she was given fentanyl after her C-section. P.S. I was completely out of it after my first C-section. It is a serious surgery. People act like it's no big deal, but it is major surgery. I had three C-sections sin total, but my first was the worst. My stomach muscles have never been in the same, and my youngest child is 21 years old!
@lucyfer6g62 жыл бұрын
I was Bout to comment this ! Thank you for the education! It is A VERY PAINFUL EXPERIENCE BELIEVE IT OR NOT LMAO With all the fentanyl hysteria, ppl forget it has its useful place in medicine [Not to say it's not being produced maliciously by cartels tho] & 2 things can be true at once! I'm sure he just didn't know & I'm saying this, as a ex heroin addict And as a mother 😁 I only know from the first hand experience as well! 🖤
@mccnt99182 жыл бұрын
I just commented that they gave me fentanyl when I had my youngest in 2019. I had no idea it was a thing they gave in the hospital. It used to be Percocet or Vicodin and in severe cases Morphine or Demerol. They gave me Demerol when I was in labor with my middle child and that was the EASIEST labor ever. So much so I requested it with my youngest but they just laughed and said that's very old school. They don't do that anymore. Lol crazy how the medical field changes so quickly. It was just 7 years between those 2 labors and everything was so different. They used to consider you full term at 36 weeks and wouldn't stop labor if it happened at that point. Now they give medicine to stop labor until 39 weeks. Anything before then is considered preterm labor.
@idellekell2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was a bit put off by his reaction to that too. It's like people think it's JUST a street drug. I was given it during oral surgery. It not only killed the pain, but it put me in a state where I wasn't very conscious of what was going on (thank god!). I think they must use it because it's safer than being fully anesthetized.

The comment trisha made about not knowing where her baby was is not an uncommon experience. Labour and birth can be 12-24 hours, could be even more. The adrenaline of just giving birth and sleep deprivation 100% can make you feel delirious and many women have told me a similar feeling. One mother told me after the trauma of birth and lack of sleep, she thought her baby was in her arms then realized the baby was in the bassinet next to her and it freaked her out. Your mind is trying to recover as well as your body. Trisha's reluctance take meds because she did not want it to add to this feeling is 100% valid. Your reaction to this and about the fentanyl comment too shows how little you know about birth. Which makes sense, but if you are going to openly critique two mothers speaking about their traumatic births, maybe research a bit more or be more open minded.

Colleen, a person who said people who do IVF are “broken”, doing a podcast with Trisha, who has insulted every community on KZbin…that’s a dumpster fire waiting to happen. They’re both self centered people who exploit their kids. I’m not even the biggest fan of Colleen, and it would be such a dumb career move. And Fentanyl is a common medication used for pregnancy (just an FYI 😁)

the entire time i watched colleen & trisha's collab I was so confused why she made the title with just trisha's birth story, bc ALL SHE DID WAS TALK ABOUT HERSELF. she hardly even asked trisha any questions. & they fact they both acted like it was - insane - to comment that you can make money from having a baby **if you post about the poor thing online** which they conveniently forgot to mention. EVEN THO it's their entire personalities now. god I hate how they're so clearly conginititvely dissonent from the exploitation of THEIR OWN CHILDREN; they fr laughed in the face of the mere idea. also it was gross that colleen was bragging about how easy it was for her to get pregnant "we weren't even trying" etc. knowing trisha struggled w infertility. they're both narcissistic, exploitative mothers, but damn at least trisha has some couth or charm or something idk I guess more awareness in how shes perceived ???

And having kids in the nicu must be hard but she is rich. She knew they would be okay, she could afford whatever treatments and whatever hospital bills were thrown her way. She could be at the hospital all the time because she doesn’t work a 9-5 with shitty insurance. She acted like something much worse was happening

I think she's just so neurotic that she works herself into a frenzy over everything. I started watching her around the time of her first marriage, and I was interested because I love watching successful, driven women who make their own way in the world. But over the years I've noticed a marked decline in her mental health. I guess she picks her skin, she doesn't seem to sleep and gets super skinny ever time she's stressed out. It's really sad to watch. She really needs to chill and learn to just life happen. Not everything has to be a crisis.

@@idellekell I’m not doubting that she actually has struggles but I just wish she understood that she has it better than so many other people and her complaining comes off as asking for a pitty party.

@Tori Palacios i 100% agree. That woman needs to start being thankful for her support system (friends, fans, family) and her bank account. I think she needs to go to inpatient care for mental health for a long while. And maybe stop taking those adhd meds... they're making her skinny and manic beyond belief

Colleen loves to hear herself talk. That's her whole personality and it's no wonder at all that she has zero actual friends. It's gotten worse and worse because she doesn't have anyone holding her accountable to care about things beyond her vapid self.

Adam, yes! Colleen’s inability to put attention on someone other than herself was striking in this video. You have made an AUDIENCE, Adam. So happy you’re using these videos to call attention to the ADULT who manipulated and exploited teenage you.

Haven’t even barely started watching this but I already know Adam about to spit facts. I feel embarrassed that I actually used to love Colleen and I thought she was a beautiful person. But ever since she started using her kids as content I just don’t see Colleen the same at all anymore. Tbh I’ve been in denial that Colleen isn’t the best person, but now I see it so clearly. I think the topic of children’s privacy on the internet needs to be talked about so much more. Thank you Adam for helping people try to understand that this is wrong.

I dont know how I feel about this whole thing; But Trisha, with all due respect, will never be as "pure mommy" as she thinks she is. Also, may I add, the exploitation of the children is incredibly disrespected by the mom community, as much as they never wanted to be "family vloggers", they are. That is NOT the same as documenting your life. As a 30 something, my home videos were different, and more often, filmed by us, the children. Who consented to picking up the huge video film set to record our fun moments. Taking pictures and videos during special moments. Instead, "I dress my child up for halloween and have them sit there for an hour while I talk and eat". How will you or the children here look back at these videos and feel anything when they weren't involved in the first place? Again, some people just really anger you into commenting...

Fentanyl is often given to pregnant women because it has a super short half-life, meaning it acts quickly and the effects also wear off quickly. It won’t hurt the baby but also relieves pain for the mother!

I know we only hear the "crazy stories" about Fentanyl, but it's a commonly used prescription pain-reliever during labour. For a short term procedure it's a useful medication- it can be used safely or it can be abused just like anything else. My mom had it during her labour- way before it became a popular street dr*g.

Honnestly this video feels really off adam, i feel a bit uncomfortable with a man telling two women that theyre exposing their pregnancys for veiws, i dont really think its your place to have an opinion on, it obviously is something that comforts them sharing their experience and for other women to have a space to openly talk about pregnancy and the trials and tribulations that comes with it. i honnetsly think people are readsing way to far into this, just seems like and excited catch up between two friends. no hate just this veido didnt sit right with me

I wanted to inform you that I do not know much of these pain medications besides what they used on me. One was Fentanyl. We asked what it was and made sure it was just offering me relief and not getting the baby high. It was not! So know these pain meds are safe and it is just for moms comfort! They can have beneficial uses.

Yeah A LOT of surgeries you’re given fetanyl in the OR and while you’re in recovery after. I’m lucky to never have had a C-section but they literally cut your stomach completely open and uterus and pull a whole human out. It’s a pretty big surgery so props for toughing it out without any pain meds! Especially with Trisha’s history with substances that’s really huge. I really hope Trisha is really trying to change and not just for show because her daughter deserves it!
