Suicide is selfish though. As someone diagnosed BPD, anxiety, ptsd, suicide is selfish. I’ve been so suicidal many times. Unaliving yourself just takes your pain and spreads it to your loved ones.
@LunaBeth97 Жыл бұрын
@@babygirrrl5147yeah, it's a really difficult topic to navigate tbh. It's incredibly painful to have to live every day when you really don't want to and being told that it's selfish to finally end it really fucking sucks. But then I experienced being on the other side of things where I have been terrified that I'd wake up to find a loved one dead and watching someone in hospital being on the verge of death multiple times. It's a pain you can't really conceptualise until you experience it, especially so when you're hurting so much. I now view it like you're carrying a bomb of pain that'll explode and spread to people who love you (including people you'd never even consider would be affected by your death) but it can (and will) eventually go away or become easier to live with over time and therapy. That idea kept me alive in my worst time when my literal first thought of the day was of killing myself. I have a lot more complicated feelings about my sister's current suicidality that do include being angry at her "selfishness" but realistically, it's just a really shitty situation for everyone involved and it's a type of "selfishness" that I have to forgive. Like there's different degrees/ types of selfishness with some being worse than others and some being more understandable than others so it's really complicated. To the original commenter, I'm really sorry to hear that you have to live with this. It's really fucking difficult but life can always get better. Even if there's a 1% chance things will improve, it's better than the guaranteed 0% chance that suicide causes. But I do truly hope it gets better sooner rather than later for you.
@Dekiams Жыл бұрын
@@babygirrrl5147 It might be selfish in a way, but we are allowed to look after our own mental health first. If someone doesn't see any way to get better, nobody cares about them and actually actively helps them in the way they need to feel better, the suffering whether it be mental or physical can become so much with no way out or ever feeling okay again and nobody who is there for them. It's a relief for them - the only way to feel better again or end the pain/nightmare they live. And people close to them that care will understand and be "happy" for them in a way knowing they are in a better place now. Death is always said in a way as someone you were familiar with or even cared about is suddenly gone. But keeping someone from ending their suffering is just as selfish as you let them be tortured just because you would be missing them from your life.

@babygirrrl5147 As someone with autism, BPD, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Myasthenia Gravis, and possible fibromyalgia while also being alloromantic asexual (see we all have something, it doesn’t make our opinion more right), I’ve been suicidal as well. The selfishness thing is always thrown around. And you know what else is selfish? Person A wanting Person B to stick around no matter how unhappy they are, just to make Person A feel better. See? The selfish card can be played both ways.

So before this year I had no idea who Colleen, Josh, Johnny, or you were. Once the drama started is where I first started seeing you, I’ve been watching your videos for a while and just subscribed today. I LOVE seeing you in a position to enjoy this backlash towards Colleen. Instant fan of the petty. So glad to see Swoop covered this.

Honestly, Trisha is kinda growing up on me...yes she needs to admit that she didn't want to call out someone she looked up to, but she is doing better as a person and I'm here for it!!

Totally agree. From she became a mum, she seems more settled ❤ hopefully she keeps growing, i hope it all works out for her.

Ive discovered Adam from his “Hi” video which responds to Colleens ukulele video in a funny way…. I have huge respect for him and love his personality and will stick around. :) Also, I really appreciate how Adam always explains what’s going on and what happened again in new videos so that people who haven’t watched those previous videos or forgot e.g why toxic gossip ukulele hates Tana and her significance in the podcast with Trisha can understand what’s going on. Thank you Adam! ❤

It’s funny how Trisha acts like she doesn’t believe that Tana is face tuning. She talked shit about Tanas face tuned pictures on Frenemies like crazy! They are both such liars! 😂 I wouldn’t believe a word they say.

I love how you individually talk about the actions people make and the things that happen to them individually rather than solely focusing on the character of a person. Like we know Trish and tana have bad character moments majority of the time, but we also know they can go through bad things without somebody being like “well they deserve it because of the bad stuff they did”

Without any words Colleen shows what kind of person she is by doing the podcast. Proving everything she is. I feel a sociopath.people with feelings,empathy don’t and couldn’t do that,knowing what you did to someone.she never thought it would come out. It always does.

I feel for trish so so much in this. Any time i make a female friend, something happens where we are no longer friends. Like, just in my adult life, one tried to sleep with my boyfriend (and did) AND sleep with me/SA'd me, another i was so excited to find a friend to hula hoop with...she left our first real hang out to do hard drugs (?!) With some guy and eventually ran away from her trouble (?!) and got arrested (i really know how to pick them wtf) and in jail. And ofc there's several more. Most recent one she moved before i got a chance to hang out with her outside of work, thank god tbh. I have my lifelong female bff and my bestie whos also my husband and thats good enough now lmao.

Like many other people out there, I wouldn’t be here if not for an emergency C-section. Many others wouldn’t be here if not for scheduled c-sections. It saves lives. It’s gross to shame that.
