I agree with skyrimcay. Long-distance relationships are a complete waste of time. I'm from the East coast and I dated this girl who lived in Dallas when I was 15. I thought it was the best thing in the world, until we had to break up after like 8 months. I was so distraught from the breakup to the point that I started to develope suicidal thoughts. I never want to have that feeling ever again.

I'll also add that in high school, everyone is restricted to one particular area. Usually, the jocks are the ones that are getting laid. Once a person leaves their hometown to attend college, there is more diversity when meeting new people. Say if a person was not the most popular person in school and was a otaku in high school, there are groups in college that have social clubs for those types of people. I speak from personal experience because I was a low-key, socially awkward person in high school. I did not take the typical route straight to college after high school. I joined the Army when I was 20, so I still kind of had a "college" experience of sorts. I met people from all walks of life, which expanded my mindset tenfold. I became more outgoing & found people that were more accepting of my likes and personality. I attended college when I was around 25-26, so it was a vastly different experience for me (I was older than many of the typical college students). My point is that never let one's unpopularity (or popularity) define who you are once you leave high school. There are people that were painfully shy who became huge success stories (and got laid constantly), while those who were deemed "popular" working dead end jobs.

That was really interesting. I live in Germany, and currently going to University (with around 50 k students). The whole education system is a bit different here. We don't have those huge campuses over here, more people stay at home with their parents. However the whole party thing also applies here :D

Some of your advice isn’t great advice. I’ve known ppl do long distance relationship great bc their love was real. There is a lot of immature ppl still at the university/college level. And not everyone is about parties and hooking up either. And some might not even have time to date or want to date bc of what’s offered at the university level. And I’ve also seen ppl last longer in relationships that settle early. Not everyone wants to go wild. Ppl got morals,and standards. At that level from my experience I’ve seen majority of non loyal ppl.

I don’t know about college “making you into an adult” I have an associates, a bachelors and working on a master and honestly I feel way less prepared and far more behind then someone that starts a job and or learns a trade right out of high school(those are the ones making the real money) For me, colleges have now become 2-4 years extended vacations from reality and SJW fuck fesses.
