I stayed single for twelve years, and then married again TO THE RIGHT WOMAN! Fifteen beautiful years later our Creator took her away early. That was seven years ago. Now, being "off the market" for twenty years and seeing what we have now, I have one word..... DITTO!!!!! The whole environment has changed, including women. Well what women want from men is very tangible - his last name, a ring, money, protection, etc. What tangible benefits does a woman bring - mother to his children, a sympathetic ear, a companion to grow old with. Are modern women taught that is all they bring to the table? No. They are taught that if they acquire money and success and a career, things women want from men, they will get a tech billionaire to wife them up. Women, and their upbringing in our public schools, is the sole problem.

It's really quite simple, really. You see, over the past 15-20 years, there has been one message relentlessly drilled into men: *You are not good enough.* The rejections put on the average man (and doubly the one trying to be a good man) have been essentially completely contradictory: "I want a sensitive man" is rejected for showing emotions as "weak", when you don't show your emotions you're rejected for "being emotionally unavailable"; when you pursue it's "try-hard"/"creepy", when you don't it's "passive; when you try to be confident/casual you're rejected because you aren't trying vs when you do try it's "putting up a front"; when you try stepping up on the 'provider' role, you're taken for granted… and, if you're religious and take your faith seriously, waiting until marriage, you get rejected with "I want an experienced man" or "you're too good for me" or "I'm not a virgin" (which was never a requirement) - and, then, when observing these difficulties the problem is always the men's fault: "you're not buff/working out!", and "you're not making $8X,XXX+/yr!", or "You're just not being social enough!" - no matter what, it's men's fault, and men have finally got the message that women/dating, school, and society have been telling them for the past 15-20 years: *you are not good enough* *_and you never will be_*. That's why.

You ought to study some history. The changes leading to what you’re pointing at started back in the 1850-ies. It didn’t take widespread hold before the 1960 to 1970-ies. The generations growing up in the late sixties and seveties strated to have widespread societal influence 20-30 y later. I.e. the late nineties and the double-o’s. So the “disease” started way earlier. It’s in the last 15-20y you see widespread symptoms. There are strong forces wanting women and men to distrust each other and stop having families. When families are weak society’s institutions (e.g. government) grows stronger and become relatively more powerful. Women become dependent on the state and power is moved from men to the state. And to a lesser degree from women to the state.
@OneWingedShark8 ай бұрын
@@mstorgaardnielsen I'm not going into the history because there's multiple causes and, depending on the framing, multiple valid assessments; also, the chain of cause-and-effect could be followed so far you "lose the picture". *For Example:* (1) On the governmental side of things: it is literally self-defeating to undermine society in such a manner, to the point that there's essentially no difference between the policies our leadership is putting in place and what would be put in place if we were conquered/occupied by a foreign enemy. (2) On the societal side of things, the continual de-personing of men [e.g. as emotional beings: "the only masculine emotion is anger" (and any other emotion, esp. sadness, *is* weakness) vs "if you show anger you're out of control and/or dangerous"] drives a sense of non-belonging which, in turn, drives [much of] the self-deletion rates. So, no; going into the history, and multi-factor causes & contributing factors, is a book-length proposition; nor a comment-sized observation.

There has been a clear rise in the assertion to overlook the value of male contribution in society. This lack of respect and value is mirrored in the very behaviours of many women that men find highly distasteful, unappealing and unattractive. What is taking place is a natural response to an imbalance between the masculine and feminine relationship, which by nature is very beautiful.

My dad never introduced another woman to our home, we learned to take care of ourselves and I think we all agree that we don't need the chaos that modern femininity brings to a home, so we just take care of ourselves and support each other. I deeply love and respect my dad, he raised us with ethics and christian values which he also always followed himself. He never did drugs or was a drunk and always made sure that he knew who our friends were so he could support us in our interests. It is not the young teenagers and adults do not want to date, it is because majority of women have excluded them. In Middle School and High School, the only teenagers who were getting the girls were the popular kids or the athletes and having sexual relationships at a younger age, but they were getting the majority of girls, meaning that they were having relationships with multiple girls while they were all competing for the same guy, leaving countless normal and average looking boys and young college age adults sexless and not in a relationship. It is the same pattern with most women up to their 30s. After this age, the leftover women realize that they lost the game and now give a chance to normal, average or even below average men, but the problem is that these men have no experience but the female does and probably has high body count by then while most men have none.

Also, the post-30 relationships are loveless, oftentimes bedless, and usually miserable. The women you perfectly described are used to being with Chad/Tyrone. When they finally marry Peter Bob, he's not as experienced and so she ends up picking up side-pieces to have her fun while Peter Bob is her retirement plan. THe dual mating strategy, essentially. It leaves Peter Bob in a situation where he feels like he's never getting nor receiving any affection from her, and he's usually bending over hand and foot to vie for her attention, but because he's not an alpha, she has zero attraction to him; Peter Bob is just a utility service for her. It's why there are so many relationship advice posts from the Peter Bob guys asking how they can get more bedroom action from their wife and how they cook, clean, and work but she never seems interested. It's because she has zero feelings for Peter Bob, and Chad/Tyrone (or in some cases Emily/Stacey) are still getting her physical affection.

I'm a 26 year old dude. No wife or girlfriend. I was a quiet boy in highschool (mostly because I was depressed while parents were going through a divorce.) I minded my own business, did my homework, got good grades. The girls at my school were rude, obnoxious, and very mean to boys like me. Some were good at pretemding to be nice until you got to know them. The rest were airheads. Even though I wanted a girlfriend very badly there was simply no one around me to date. I'd very much like to have children to pass down the family name. But I don't know if that's gonna happen unless I adopt. Whatever happens will happen because it's the will of the Lord. Why is it so hard to understand? Statistically, over 50% of marriages end in divorce within the first 10 years. Leaving those men in debt, without a home, paying child support and alimony. Essentially, worse off than if they had stayed single. Most modern women lack wife skills and expect men to be providers and do half of the chores. I have had at least four of these women, with long-term boyfriends, basically offer to dump them for me. And when I did not take the bait, they just kept on with their boyfriends. I was shocked they stayed with their boyfriends because they badmouthed the boyfriends so bad to me but then months later I’m seeing social media posts where the women are saying how great their boyfriends are and how much in love they are w them. When you have lots of female friends and you’re a decent looking guy like me, you really see their dark nature come out. (I am 58 years old and never married, monogamous dater. facts! as a millennial kid from the late 80's growing up i was told by several older men not to marry and heard their horror stories, i was attracted to girls in high school and even as an average guy no matter what i did they were only into the top 10% of boys as far as attractiveness, but they didn't care too much about money and the 666 standards yet. i remember asking a girl out and the first thing she would do is run back to her group of friends and they would all snicker and laugh in a group judging me before she would come back with an answer. feminist English teachers that would give every girl good grades even when they produced dog wash and always mark down the men including those that performed well. people say millennials are entitled it's because the women of our generation were truly entitled and the men were envious of their entitlement and started expecting more for themselves too. things have just spiralled out of control since then. now these millennial women are hitting 30's and heading to 40's and are on the internet crying they cant find a good man when they hit the wall and got ran through in their 20's

The older men have been psychologically abusing the younger men by transferring their failures and regrets onto them. ie, a bitter 50 year old that had his time and had his fun is telling a 20 year old virgin not to bother with women and none of it is worth it anyway. There is nothing good to say about those broken "men", they aren't mentors.
@jacqueslee25928 ай бұрын
Not really. Older generation had it easier to be honest. They were not required to have good jobs, high paying salaries to buy a home and start a family. The older generation also dated and found relationships easily and the way they found a woman was more easier as they would often meet in High School or at a dance party or in the streets or restaurant. I have heard stories that they even met walking their dogs at a park. Nowadays, people can really meet women anywhere or anytime less talk to one in public and women also won't talk to a man unless he drives a nice car, has a high paying job, and already has a condo or house. Young men cannot have those things. Older generation married at 17 or 18, today, this generation marries at 30.

You can be a teenager "full of hormones", whether you are attracted to girls, it's no use if girls reject you. When I was a teenager, I was never able to date a girl because I obviously wasn't good enough for them. I suffered a lot of mockery and contempt. Holiday romances, for me, were only fiction. When I started to have success with women, later, it was too late, I no longer wanted to be in a relationship with anyone and I was too affected by the horrible attitude of young women with Me. I'm a 73yo batchelor. I was in university throughout the '70s (math, physics, electrical engineering) and became professionally established in the '80s. That's the time men normally settle down with a girl and start a family. However, at that time I was asked to appear in court as a character witness three (3!) times by male friends who were going through divorces. In all three instances the wife accused the husband of physical abuse. I knew these families very well, exchanged Xmas presents, birthday parties, etc. In two cases, I knew the wife for years before she met her husband to be. The first time, I asked her why she did that, knowing it was untrue. She just said that was the lawyer's recommendation. I was so shocked by the unfairness of it all that I never took the risk of getting married, much to my parent's disappointment.

Too true brother. It happened to me. My solicitor was female, my ex-wife is obviously female, and my ex-wife's solicitor was female. One of them, and I'll never know which one, accused me of "choking" my wife! Which of course led to a $2000 increase in the legal fees of the divorce due to the extra phone calls that ensued. I asked my ex-wife if it was her who made the claim, she said it was either me or my solicitor! I then asked her to write to her solicitor to have the claim refuted, and she didn't bother- even though she admitted to me on the phone that I never choked her! So forever on record, in some solicitor's office, is the claim that I choked my ex-wife. Truth be told I would walk away from her in arguments and never touched her, but as a man I'm guilty until proven innocent.

Her childhood best friend snitched her out. When i confronted her, she gave me some lame story about how she was testing her buddy to see if she could be trusted. Lolol WOW! Her bestie said she'd have killed to be in my wifes position. Were living separately but married so that her cancer treatments are covered, cheaper to keep her, and with the recent discovery of her cancer spreading to her lungs and kindenys i might have made the right choice to stick it out. If you are alone and getting bored, obviously you are in bad company. By the end of the day, if you are feeling miserable, you are in super-bad company. The fundamental question is: “What is my problem? I have all my limbs intact, I can see, I can hear, I can smell, I can taste, what’s my problem?” But that is the big problem. That, you will know only if you sit alone. When there are people around you, you find excuses. If you are with someone, it is easy to say, “This guy is horrible, so I’m irritated. She’s not okay, that’s not okay, this is not okay.” But when you sit alone and the problem still exists, now you know what the source of the problem is.

I've noticed most of the young men who were raised by the mothers and saw what happened to the fathers, are very hesitant to put themselves into the same situation as their fathers. Why should I allow myself to be judged by old, male values when I can't expect traditional values from her in return? I should earn well, I should spoil her. I should treat her like a queen. What women don't want to understand is that men bear all the risk of a relationship. If a marriage breaks up, I lose half of what I have earned. I probably won't get custody of my children. I'm probably too old to find a new relationship. If I'm unlucky, my reputation will be destroyed. All of these old values were based on a system that is now completely perverted. Women are born with their worth. You have a much easier time finding a partner. Much easier! A man has to earn his worth. A status. They then want to benefit from this status. Be it social or monetary. What do I get in return? A woman with a body count of 10+?! If you're unlucky, you'll be used as a pay pig for a date. Women want to be conquered. They want you to fight for it. But if a man does that, there is a good chance that he will be called a stalker. The slightest mistake will land him on some TikTok videos as a failed date, narcissist or sexist. The worst thing is that most women are maybe a 4 or 5 but think of themselves as a 10. Ladies, look in the mirror and ask yourself what you can offer a man. Ask yourself why you, of all people, deserve a man of status. Get off your high horse. You have created a climate of fear for the last 10-15 years. A system in which the man can only lose. If you have nothing to offer except your body, you shouldn't be surprised that that's all you're used for. A man simply wants a loving, attentive partner by his side. A home to look forward to. Even if the day was so bad. Knowing full well that there is an attentive, sensitive woman waiting for you who knows how to make you feel noticed and would like to give you some attention. You are simply no longer worth the stress and risk.

@@scrateshooter The type of guitar or the type of music? I play mostly Blues / Rock stuff. I have thirteen guitars, a banjo, a mandolin, a cigar box guitar and an Appalachian dulcimer. And they're all here to stay; unlike inconsistent, indecisive women. I loved that girl.

I beg you to give up on women my brother. Stay with us though, play that guitar, look after yourself and seek the company of other men.

Your title is wrong. Older men are not walking away from relationships, 80% of divorces are initiated by women. Women are discarding their families and relationships. After being divorced, many older men, myself included, have decided that women are not worth the trouble (or the money). Since getting divorced I have been on a few dates, and in a relationship, but all have been initiated by the women. I'm not interested in "pursuing" women.

Ignore anything your penis tells you, and keep that apartment all to yourself my brother. Do not let any woman know you have that apartment, and don't let any girlfriend stay there.

Let's be historical accurate, millions of domestic men didnt just up and decide domestic women weren't acceptable to them. For over a decade domestic women via social media have told at least 90% of domestic single men not to bother with dating because they aren't wanted. A couple of weeks ago domestic women promoted the meme if they had a choice of meeting a male they did not know or a wild bear in the woods they preferred to meet the bear...

I'm thinking to myself, 'if women want to date men' why don't women ask men out on dates and pay for the evening ????? On top of that, I walked out on a date way back around the year 2000 because I saw the trend and crap attitude of women back then. She was beautiful, but she was not worth a 200 dollar dinner bill. I left her in the restaurant, stating "you're going to have to find your own way home", I cancelled my food order, tipped the water (tipped him well) and told him she has to pay for her own food - and walked out.

Women can't handle rejection is the first reason they don't ask men out. I could go on but what's the point.

I advised my two sons to never ever get married, due to how law enforcement and divorce courts are unjust and destroy men. Women are not worth your life getting destroyed.
