Do you mind telling me your stats. I just curious because I got rejected from UNC chapel hill today EA and I am instate and have a 4.35 gpa with IB classes with ok EC. How did you get into a harder school but got wait listed from a easier school such as NC State. I swear, they pulled the asian race card on me.

sorry that you got rejected😕 I had very similar stats and lots of extracurriculars. Last year might have also been different for college acceptances since it was during the peak of covid and college application numbers were a lot different. Also I didn’t get into NCSU because I applied directly to the graphic design program and they accept 30 people so I would’ve gotten in if I was majoring in a different program.

Also my friend who also had similar stats got into NCSU graphic design didn’t get into chapel hill. So it’s just very weird. Maybe the essay also has something to do with it
