When I was there McCormick was all freshmen and upperclass females dared not tread there. Schroeder was where I lived; it was mostly sophomores with a few freshmen like myself. Tuition was $1300 a semester; this was 1976. The campus, and society, were quite different then than now for sure!

Cobeen was the Virgin Vault when I went there in the 70s... O'Donnell was where all the fun girls lived... or Carpenter Tower.

It comes with a bed, desk, drawers, and shelves. Pretty standard for most dorm rooms too!(:

I almost went to Marquette, but I decided to go to UWM, because it's the only school in the state that offers my program (Theatre Education). Though I know somebody who I graduated with who is a journalism student at Marquette.

I got some scholarships and am taking out some loans(: it's super rare to graduate without some kind of student loan to pay off, so don't worry if you have to take some out! good luck!

Awesome! This is Cobeen, and this year I'm in Carpenter so I think I'll do another video! Freshman year you don't get to choose much besides your top 3 hall choices and a roommate if you want. But sophomore year you get to choose your dorm and which room you're actually in based on a lottery system! Feel free to message me with any other questions(:

But hey, I love meeting new people so that's good. This is totally random, but do you know much about their science programs? I'm thinking pre-med and kind of wanted to hear from a student about it.

I really liked Cobeen! It's the all-girls dorm which can get a little much sometimes, but overall I thought it was awesome! and the really big circular dorm is McCormick, it's the most social and has the smallest rooms. I'm a comm student so I honestly know nothing about the science programs, sorry! :/

McCormick rooms are known for being small, they're pie-shaped haha. and I'm not sure how you'd get into contact with a science person to be honest, you could try contacting admissions but I don't think they're allowed to give out students' contact info

hey, that's awesome! I love Cobeen b/c there's a dining hall downstairs, the rooms are super nice, and it's pretty quiet for when you have to get stuff done. being completely honest though, it would be nice to have guys around to make guy friends though. Abbottsford is really nice too, the rooms are huge and it's co-ed, plus it's a pretty central location. McCormick is definitely more social, but I've heard it's loud and that's where some partying occurs. It all depends on whether you care more about meeting people, having a nice room, or having a quiet place to study. def message me if you want any more info!(:

The dorm came with special supports and screws that make it really easy to loft! I mean, I needed both my parents' help and a couple strong RA's, but it wasn't too bad haha

the pieces were made to be lofted easily, you just kinda fit them in together and hold them up haha...our RA helped which made it a lot better!
