BeautyandBrains5 In the past four years, I have had five relatives attend HBCU's. I have been privy to visiting practically all of them. So, I beg to differ. I agree that upperclassmen dorms are better than underclassmen in most colleges but in the case of HBCU's that's not saying much. To accept and/or excuse it as"tradition" only minimizes a problem that desperately needs to be brought to the forefront. I in no way want to discourage anyone from attending an HBCU because the experience can be very rewarding.

Your dorm is so pretty and organized! Looks like everything was quite compact too. I think you had some good ideas for storage. How much storage space do you get outside of the room? You mentioned that you keep fans and winter clothes downstairs. I would like to see what in your caddy too! 😊

It's literally a huge open room in the basement with selves. There is no limited space. But you have to be careful because your stuff is out in the open, and so you could run into thieves which is never fun. I wouldn't plan for it, but it is possible that you can keep extra down there if you over pack like me.

I do have my car, I park in Morehouse's garage. But only because it is a more cost efficient way for me to drive myself back home on breaks and holidays. However I do not recommend freshmen bringing their cars at all. It's not part of the freshmen experience. And it's not aloud.
