I'll be attending USF starting in fall, so I was curious about how people would organize their dorms. Also I love your anime wall and master chief tapestry ^~^

Congrats! Honestly. Organization is so different for everyone. I feel like my stuff is organized but looks messy. I find trial and error is the best way to find what best works for you. But definitely will need some under bed storage, like a plastic bin, to keep some extra stuff that you might not need often but still should have. Like jackets! I recommend just watching some videos and checking out Pinterest!

big tip for usf: buy textbooks after your first week. that way you'll know which teachers actually use them and which classes you'll actually be taking after the add/drop week. i signed up for a class freshman year, bought like three books, and then the class got completely canceled. also, why do you have a humidifier in florida lmao

I usually do that for textbooks. And because you can’t burn a candle in dorm rooms so people usually use humidifiers to get the same effect of scents.

Hi!! I’m going to Usf in the fall and I’ll be staying in the traditional dorms in the village as well. I’m kind of nervous for the common bathrooms. Have you had any bad experiences or is there anything you would recommend?? And have you ever had to wait because the shower was being used by someone else? Thanks for the video! Really helpful :)

I’ve never really had a terrible experience. Some people are just bleh in general. Leaving hair in shower drain and things like that. And the communal bathrooms in the village only have 2 showers and 2 bathroom stall. So I had to wait sometimes but that was also during the pandemic and not all the rooms were filled on my floor. Also there’s no place to set your stuff down except the floor. I never came up with anything besides just putting my dirty clothes on the floor and my new ones on top it to Jett it off the floor

In the village they are twin xl. In beta and castor they are just regular twin. I don’t know about anywhere else :/ but usually they’re either of those
