If anybody has watched the Boo Brothers Movie Shaggy has stand up for himself before, when the Boo Brothers tried to trow a house party Shaggy got so pist off he broke their record player. Oh and Scooby Doo is the only character who can stand up to Shaggy (Although, this has mostly been proven in the video games, such as Night Of 100 Frights and Mystery Unmasked).

@@hrodriguez561 No these are all based on the original Scooby Doo series from 1969 to the 90s. Mostly, when Casey Kasuem still voiced Shaggy. The very first Scooby Doo episode Daphne says Shaggy is suppose to be on the track team (meaning he's an athlete), today's Scooby Doo treats Shaggy as a dummy but in the original series he was seen all the time finding clues, The Boo Brothers movie also proved he was good at solving mysteries as well, he also used ventriloquism to fool many of the villains as he was shown in the Black Knight ghost episode, Galloping ghouls, What The Hex Is Going On? There was an episode in The New Scooby Doo movies where Shaggy mentions he had a pilots license (I mean he's proven to fly planes in 13 Ghost Of Scooby Doo), Today also treats Shaggy as a bad driver however in the original show he was seen driving the van many times, he even drove it in the 90s movies, not to mention Relcutant Werewolf movie showed he was a race car driver.
