It's real simple. The so-called Black Community rejects those things that well functioning communities embrace, such as a nuclear family, a common purpose, public engagement. They also know how to generate wealth. Simply put, wealth isn't how much money you earn, but how much money your money earns. In other words, instead of spending your money, invest it in income producing assets.

In the not to distant past, the black community had good family values, all while dealing with Jim Crow (separate but equal laws). It's funny how white feminists and black leftists demand we turn back to segregation. The Black community generally voted conservative but were targeted by the democratic party. It started with Margaret Sanger, an Eugenisist who thought Hitler was doing God's work exterminating Jews. She stated, " blacks are human weeds," and in the name of progress, she convinced black pastors to put abortion clinics in their inner city neighborhoods. As a result, 20 million black babies, or roughly 40% of all abortions have targeted that community. Couple this with Lyndon Johnson great society (welfare programs that encouraged single motherhood (you don't need no man around), and you get a black community uncoupled from a moral compass. Throw in some government. sanctioned drugs from the cartels, and you have a recipe for disaster. Whites have followed suit with single moms being the norm, and a 50% divorce rate. We all sit around and scratch our heads, wondering, what has happened to our society, as one party attempted to put an entire race back on the plantation for the sake of political power. It's now switched to an open border policy to allow in a new voting block, as the black community is beyond serving its usefulness.

But over the last 20-30 years. the race hustlers have been working overtime to make everyone, black and white, think that racism is central to the mainstream culture, thus alienating blacks and whites from each other and from sociaty and traditional values, leaving people adrift without values, principals, or fellow feeling.

The whole “we”and “in our community” thing that black Americans, including my wife keep referring to is completely alien to me because I’ve never been seen as white, native, or Hispanic. From the outside it honestly seems psychologically crippling because people tend to allow their opinions to become influenced by what they see as some sort of responsibility to their “community”. The reality is that as a young black man, if you have a white man and another black man standing in front of you, there is a 50/50 chance that white man has more in common with you than that black man. My suggestion is to eliminate any sort of race based “we” from your vocabulary and just be the best individual person you can. People as individuals are always more thoughtful than people in groups.

These have greatly helped me: 1. Always do your own research. 2. Trust NOBODY but YOURSELF and your own judgement based on all the information you gathered. 3. Never watch a single news or information outlet, watch them ALL. 4. Take information from all the sides, from all perspectives, from as many sources as you possibly can. 5. Assume that ALL of them are either lying or are biased in their opinions, and you will not be disappointed. 6. Figure out on your own who's fake and who's not. 7. Form your own opinions, do not blindly accept the oppinions of others, no matter how much they seem to align with your current interests. 8. If you consider you do not have enough information, and something doesn't add up, keep looking, keep searching, you will find the truth. 9. Visualize the situation from both outside, and from within. 10. The more information you take from ALL sides the better your understanding of the bigger picture you will have. 11. Never let anyone know that you know more than they do, when they start acting like a ''know-it-all'', let them. Pretend that they do, ask them lots of questions. This way, you will either bolster your own knowledge, or unmask their lies. This is the best and most effective weapon, in any given situation because knowledge is power. This is the only way to find the truth.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to listen to both sides of a discussion rather than going in with your mind made up. it appeared you had an open mind and you were willing to listen even though it was something you weren't expecting to hear. that is refreshing. good luck to you in life sir😊

Those stats are real, they are FBI stats from a few years ago. That's when this video was made. I'd imagine the numbers aren't much different as crime has not decreased.

My experience of black culture is that every non-black is suspect racist until they prove otherwise. My experience comes from marrying a black woman and being around her family, hearing the day to day conversations of her mother and brothers. Took me a long time to get her to understand that, for from racial motivation for other people's unkind, ignorant, or selfish actions, they were more likely to just be stupid, ignorant, or just generally a dick.

8:59 you are right, mostly these people fixated on race are projecting. Just because people might have racism doesn’t mean we need to take action against that proposed phantom, if something happens and you can prove it was racially motivated, then yes we can talk about that but you can’t have that be the first thing when the event involves two different races! It cannot be the “default” explanation like Ben pointed out

@hggffutgfd Yeah, she is. I am primarily Hispanic, but I got Scottish ancestry from my dad as he is Scottish and Hispanic. I can't speak Spanish to save my life and I have taken like 7 classes. In my last year at a VERY bad school, I got bullied for not being Mexican/Hispanic enough... Thank God, my mom got me out of that school and into a better school in a different town. We live out 30 minutes from a college town where I went to the bad school, and we transferred me out to a different school that was 20 minutes away in a small town/village (currently is a small town, as it just barely got out of the population level 4 years ago to be considered a village).

Back in the 60s there was a great debate about how to fix the black community - whether conservative measures or liberal - whether proclaiming them victims and giving them welfare and retribution for victimhood, whether putting them on welfare versus conservative measures and the thing is, the Democratic politicians encouraged males to get females pregnant and women to get on welfare and those were the discussions and that is the direction things went and that statistical change is so devastating and it was certain liberal black leaders who pushed for it. Where there were other black leaders who wanted to shore up families and increase education, etc.

I think what Ben is trying to get across is that sometimes poverty is part of a culture who isn’t trying to better themselves and while that is still primarily the black race there also are white people with the same mentality of being stuck in the place they are. An example is your family and how your parents had the mind set to better themselves and get out of the life they were possibly going to get stuck in and the affect of that is you and how well you are doing and are going to do with your life.

Always question statistics. It isn't about the numbers, it's about how you ask the question. There is also a distinction between racism and discrimination. Racism is internal, and may not affect actions. Discrimination is an action, if an employer is racist, but still hires and treats everyone fairly, the employer may be racist but doesn't discriminate. In a free society that's his right... as long as he doesn't discriminate. There are so many laws and actions being taken now that are discrimination and they are being enacted because of racism. That's taking action against thought, not against actions. I don't know if that makes sense outside my head...lol.
@elizabitty213 Жыл бұрын
No you made total sense! I also agree! I mean if you hate people solely because of the color of their skin that’s terrible and that’s something you should work on within yourself and with God, but it shouldn’t be legislation out in place to counteract peoples thoughts!

As an immigrant to the USA in 1970, I can tell you for sure yes, there is racism here like everywhere else. Here's the interesting part, as a very young child in school, in a major American city, none of my class saw each other as being from different races. It was a true melting pot - Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, from all parts of the world, we all got along. We all played after school and went to each other's homes for meals and fun and games. Growing up in that city, the racism I experienced was from other ADULTS. Now 50 years later I see racism and divisiveness being actively TAUGHT to our young. As a non-white person, if I was taught I could never get ahead because of my skin color, that would've completely sabotaged my life. The young people I know today, don't have that vision of optimism that I did growing up. This is tragic and probably impossible (IMHO) to cure.
@robinmcinarnay7827 Жыл бұрын
Yeah and as a young, white-non minority-kid being taught you’ve sabotaged every aspect of every single minority race 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝙛𝒐𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝑶𝑹𝑵. But not just that, until *very* recently, all American public schools were (most still are) teaching “evil white racism” through CRT. Then you have your inherent “evil white racism” affirmed through liberal controlled media-in every single aspect of every single outlet and forum-and seeing commencement ceremonies held separately for major colleges that go as far to include LGBTQ as a minority but they all still attend the regular one that whites are allowed to attend, but they’re not allowed in “minority safe spaces.” So, maybe think about the burden of having to bear the responsibility for the failure of *every single minority* bc of your “oppression” and “white privilege” and let’s not forget about that “evil white racism.” Yeah, this is the vision of optimism my child 𝘎𝘌𝘛𝘚 to grow up with, thanks to the privilege of mere existence.😑

I just have to ask, unless you are trying to prove that some races are inferior to others, why bring race into it at all ? What about number of families with religious beliefs, mother and father in the home, or any other basis ? How do they fare economically as groups ? Or would you just not care unless it's profitable to exploit ?

Why bother with characteristics that have nothing to do with success like sex or race, what about actions, behavior. If you think all men are created equal, then only decisions matter.

My first time talking to a racist was 1979 I worked in a factory and went hunting, fishing and to dances etc with a black coworker,friends. A woman came to say we don't do that here. Do what here? Associate with those people. Well I'm sorry, but my parents didn't raise me that way and it's up to parents to guide their children to not be prejudiced and live life to the fullest.
