I’m attending Montclair State University this fall, and I really wanted to go to Pace because it’s in the City but decided to commit to MSU just because when I visited the school, I fell in love 🥰 maybe I’ll see u in the fall 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾

omg sis! I was a freshman at Pace last year and I had to transfer. I’m from Texas so like it was super exciting! But the cons definitely outweigh the pros... I’m going to school in Texas now because it was way too expensive and it wasn’t worth the money. So happy to hear input and wishing you the best
@AimeeZheng5 жыл бұрын
HaleyOrellana I had a lot of friends who also transferred as well. and yes it was expensive, msu is a public university so I’m saved a lot of money transferring there. I wish you the best as well 💕

Hey! I'm from Texas also and I was planning on transferring to Pace just because I love the city and want to get out of Texas.. but I did hear its super expensive. But a lot of people told me they get a lot in scholarships and financial aid and loans help as well. Was it still too expensive after all of that? Sorry, I'm just wondering because I want to make the right decision.

@@MB-hn8ft Hi Maryam! I also love the city and I miss it dearly. I had an awful experience with financial aid at Pace. I had a $22,000 scholarship and I had to take out an emergency $10k loan or else they were going to kick me out of the dorms. It was all too much. I would only recommend going if you have the money. Even then, the students there aren't very welcoming. But If you have the funds I would give it a try...

Did Pace give you a hard time transferring? Did they charge you extra for transferring?

how is the asian community at msu.. is there a lot of asians there to be around?
@AimeeZheng4 жыл бұрын
There’s a decent amount of asians at msu. I’m part of UAASO which is an all asian club and MUFASA which is a Filipino club. They’re honestly like my family and everyone is so nice and welcoming and it’s really easy to make new friends :)

Hi Aimee, Im highly considering transfering to Montclair when im done community college but since i live in south jersey, i will most likely have to dorm. Is dorming expensive and is there an option to include it in your tuition? Sorry if this is a stupid question loll
@AimeeZheng5 жыл бұрын
Alec Christenson Hi Alec, the pricing for the dorms vary depending on where you want to dorm. Montclair has a lot dorming opinions you can choose from. They have on campus housing and off campus housing. The off campus housing are more like apartments. Last semester I was in a triple which cost somewhere in the $3,000 and this year I’m in a double which is somewhere in the $4,000. If you want more information about it you can always go to their website for more details. And to answer your second question (I hope I can answer this right cause I was a bit confused on the question), dorming expenses will be included in your overall tuition. I hope this helps 😊
