While I question the show's decission to kill off who was easily the best character, I do appreciate the irony and perfect execution of Mr. Squint's death. He's beaten by his archnemesis in a butler's duel, sure, but really think about it. Why did he lose the duel? Not because he was the less skilled with a gun, but because he didn't properly know the butler's book. In other words, he lost BECAUSE HE WAS, IN FACT, A LESSER BUTLER. Mr. Squint didn't only lose the butler's duel, he lost the butler off. And in the end, it's poetic justice that the young butler, who tried to rebel against the ancient traditions of butlering held dear by the likes of Mr. Fletcher, was killed precisely because he did not know the traditions of butlering well enough.

Question I'm guessing you're not a doctor, because your heart is NOT in the center of your chest. He got shot in the sternum. An old fashioned pistol like that wouldn't be likely to penetrate all the way to the spinal cord, so there's nothing essential in that spot.

That means that 86.3% of the population is English. Therefore, calling it the Britishes when referring to English stereotypes is "accurately targeted" at 86.3% of the population. As is such with American stereotypes, where often one state will represent an entire region, or one region the entire country, we don't have many people bitching about that, now do we?
