I researched butler positions in a job search to see how much someone will pay and the job requirements. In Beverly Hills, one job offered $110-115k a year but 30 different job responsibilities. Basically, if you are willing to give up having a life outside of your job, then it would be perfect for you. The posting was very demanding and made a point to state that the butler should be very familiar in dealing with celebrities and being discreet.

@@algumacoisaserve9914 In truth it varies by individual but most wealthy people give things away for good quality service . because once you get to a certain point of wealth accumulation the things become less important than what experience you have out of life . It's easier to get money form a rich man than it is to get a minute of his time . As a butler your the go to person who is running his household . You get a lot of responsibility placed on your shoulders. But also a lot of opportunity to impress and show your value to your boss. Butlers are often not a one time job when employed by the higher end of society. It can be a long and well paid career with a lot of perks . But there are requirements including the ability to keep your mouth shut. Because your clients rather not have their personal life and issues put on display for the press. You don't become a butler hoping for the perks without putting in the work . You become a butler to server your boss to the best of your ability and for a simple paycheck . You do your job well and you will receive the extra perks including gifts from your employer. It's fairly lonely at the top and the wealthy often become close friends with their aids . A butler is one of those positions that is always there day or night for their employer . You maybe asked to assist in any number of daily task. Something as mundane as picking out a tie to go with a suit . Can be a sign form your employer that he trust your judgement . Or picking out a dress for the lady of the house same deal. You do your job well and you get rewarded . You do your job poorly and you don't it's that simple.

@@nicholasnzioka6480 Cannot say for sure , but yeah , most of them do prefer a personal touch rather than AI. For example , Jeff Bezos doesn't use Alexa or Echo Dot , even though he is the owner of Amazon and other related companies.

It tracks the Gini coefficient in the Western world. Gini coefficient dipped in the middle of last century --> greater equality, butlers disapeared. Gini coefficient started going up --> les equality, butlers reappeared. The reemergence of butlers is the result of 40 years of neoliberal economics policies.
