I don't measn to sound weird but seeing 4am exhausted collette is the best part about build videos like this. It's the same energy (and speech pattern lol) Adam has in these situations. Just his hair isn't as messy xD Anyway, it makes everything so real and relatable, in contrast to the shows and channels where the host goes home for dinner and the crew finishes the work off camera.
@colliecollie68222 жыл бұрын
Hadn't watched a Collette video for sometime. Her doing her own work, wrenching and especially painting, are her best videos. Those combined with including her brother are usually entertaining. Such a take charge young lady. I only wish she would get back into rally racing or the 600cc carts like Hallie Deegan races from time to time.

@projectbumblejeep41902 жыл бұрын
By the time we see this our helpful ideas are too late. But for future reference, you can try a satin clear over the damaged fiberglass as a kind of non gel coat repair to re-seal the loose glass fibers. You can put on as many coats as required to seal the fibers. This is a tip I hope you never have to use again. Looks great! God bless and stay well.

Nice job on the vette, I really like the flake on candy colors this is the first time I’ve seen it on translucent yellow. Because of the conditions you drive in I was surprised you used the show clear. I expected a high solids clear or ultra high solids clear. It’s not quite as high gloss but a lot more durable to sunlight and ethanol. The fades going to be interesting to watch. It will good to see smoke coming off the tires on a track soon.

Just seen your channel for the first time. Are you the painter? Not to many women are the reason I asked. Was just wondering what guns you are using? You should look at the Devilbiss DV1. Amazing gun, and ran with the Devilbiss DeKup system you can literally paint upside down with no spillage. The atomization out of them is a game changer if you are using cheaper guns.

Really really crazy idea that just popped but hear me out before you write me off a crackpot: Paint a couple links on your Tiffany necklace & bracelet to match the Corvettes paint & then collab w/ them creating a purple & pink line of automotive inspired jewelry. I genuinely believe they are forward thinking enough to partner w/ a KZbin content creator that's as wholesome, family friendly & brand conscious as yourself & I don't think there's anyone out there that's automotive based male or female creating the kind of pieces you could wear to semi formal events. In this case, because of who you are & because the necklace you're wearing reads "Tiffany" on a flat piece I personally think it would be extra rad if that flat piece was in the shape of a rotary engine w/ all the details of a Dorito w/ Tiffany X Collette on the case (I'm sure you know what I mean). Anyways, crazy bs but sometimes the crazy makes sense

Paint the engine bay neon,, but really leave off the flake. That is for the outside panels and since it is a Drift car that will get battered and bent straight color is 100% easier to match.
@racer193wr2 жыл бұрын
At the end of the day it's a drift car. You could end up replacing that whole front corner on your next outing. Smash the paint and flake to it and start on getting it back to the track..

I had NE503 on my GSXR with inter-coat clear for the pearl & UC35 on top and it was amazing looking but i always had it fade, the more exposure i had to direct sun… the more it would blemish or bleed brilliant color off the high edges. Does this happen to any of the yellow for you?
