Wow,this was by far one of the best Schmoedown events I have seen so far! Lots of drama with Lion's Den locking Emma in the closet and Grace taking over the interviews. Jeff Snider had his best heel moment with Harloff during their match. All of the matches had tension,action,excitement,everything you want in a Schmoedown. The talent level involved with The Schmoedown never ceases to blow my mind. As is always the case, from the crew to the competitors to the questions themselves everyone is at the top of their game. There are pay per view specials that pale in comparison to what can be found right here at Collider. While there may be bumps in the road, they are only growing pains that will serve to elevate the Schmoedown to even greater heights. Big thanks to all the guys at Collider and all the competitors for this years collision. This was great fun to watch, both this and part 2, especially part 2. We all sit behind the computer screen or in front of the telly screaming the answers out, and those lights is like being dazzled by the headlights, there were some truly big time dropped balls, but it just adds to the tension. Finding yourself fist pumping when your favorite team or competitor gets that tricky question deep from their memory. Loved it all, many thanks again and keep it going.

Excellent beginning to the event! I was pulling for Nerd's Watch, but I can't fault them for missing that last question. I was pleasantly surprised by Ken's performance in this match. I've always loved him, but I think people are not giving him enough credit for what he knows (apart from Star Wars and Game of Thrones). Also, I loved Rotten Tomatoes entrance. They are so fun! As far as the InnerGeekdom goes, I couldn't choose who I wanted to win, as I love them both. Great match as well!

I literally had a stroke when Jeremy got that Star Wars wrong, had a heart attack when he got scores and soundtracks as the final question, was revived when I heard the question and immediately knew the answer, had another heart attack when he didn't immediately know it, was revived when he started singing it and then straight up had a massive aneurysm when he said Superfreak. That match was his man. He slaughtered that speed round and I thought he was golden at the end but one misstep and Hector was right there with a great pull from Man of Steel. I love Jeremy's channel and I love seeing him on this show...he oughta get a partner and get into the team league because he could be a real player in this game. Gaahhh. I've been watching a couple of these channels for awhile now and just discovered the Shmoedown a few months ago and I've been waiting for this match ever since. Such a great match. I think I need a breather before watching part 2 because if those matches are anything like these first 2 then damn.

Huge fan of Rachel and Hector! She gets so many hard answers and he's the only person for whom scores and soundtracks is a strength. Even I knew the Back in Black answer because its a metaphor for RDJ's comeback! Jahns was just faster on the buzzer but Hector knows more. I'd love to see Rachel vs. Hector for the Inner-Geekdom belt. Also my money's on Sneider- he's just amazing at this game. As for the triple threat, I think Dan has the most knowledge and Riley's the most likable. Rocha doesn't really factor into it, he's got too many weak areas.
