Funkmaster K You need elements of luck to make it competitive sometimes. The tradeoff is that sometimes that will make outcomes seem unfair. Maybe Rachel IS better than Jeremy at Trivia. But maybe she isn't better than him at the SCHMOEDOWN!

Great match but once again, I'll keep on saying this. Multiple spins per contestant. See how one spin tilts the balance so badly. If the spin goes to your weakness, there's no way of getting back. Two questions per spin would have been good.

Unlucky Jason, he was looking strong. But Jahns did well, I was actually impressed by his knowledge. They need to get rid of that buzzer round, it is based on how quick your finger is, not on your knowledge. Cushing needs to be in the main roster, she has it all.

Every Schmoedown is compelling and fun to watch in it's own way and there is almost nothing to complain about with this entertainment Schmoellider gives us. But, I agree with a lot of the complaints that the speed round as the final round with those damn buzzers is so frustrating to watch and seriously unfair. Hope to see a change there but other than that this was fantastic and can't wait for more Intergeekdom and other schmoedowns.

This is the Innergeekdom Championship. She's more knowledgeable overall than Jahns, but this match was never hers. She got lucky getting The Lord of The Rings (which she was cosplaying!) twice.

Although, Rachel played great, she got both her strengths in that 3rd round, Harry Potter and LOTR. Jeremy or Jason each could have easily run the board if they'd gotten their strengths, star wars or star trek. The wheel and buzzer rounds are always kind of just luck of the draw. I wouldn't rule out Jeremy or Jason so easily.

At least makes it so the winner of each round carries over one point. That would make it more fair and interesting and the competitors would actually try their best. Also don't cut the round after it is sure that one competitor is eliminated, let them finish it. That way they could still have some impact on the match.

Dan Grant​ 1 point probably wouldn't make a difference really especially in round 3. Really the problem is Round 4 is too short and weak to be so crucial. So many questions in the other rounds and its over in 3 at the end.

ENOUGH WITH THE SPEED ROUNDS! That is the absolute worst way to determine a winner. Not everyone preforms well during the speed round, it has nothing to do with knowledge. And by the way you should think about carrying those points over as well, because then the entire match feels pointless.

Consider this scenario: In Round 1, A scores 8 points, B scores 1 point and C scores 0. C gets eliminated. B is still in it, but if the points carry over to Round 2 like you are proposing, B might as well surrender because the deficit is too big to wipe out. Secondly Schmoedown is not just a test of someone's knowledge, it is first and foremost, a show. This format keeps the game interesting and exciting. Your idea will shorten every Fatal 5 way match and will make the show less engaging.

An easy fix for points carrying over - increased point values over rounds as well as minus points for incorrect answers, ala Jeopardy. So, 1 point for all questions in Round 1, 2 for round 2, etc. Any incorrect answers constitute a minus. So this way if a contestant gets WAY ahead in round one, all it'll take is a string of stumping questions to knock them back down and give the other contestant a chance.
