I wonder if that black circle piece for the Spidey outfit is his eye piece, which would be cool because the white part of Spider-Mans eyes react to his expressions and that's difficult to show his facial expression if the eye patches are open all the time.

The other thing that is cool with Kraven is how Spiderman tends to beat him. Many times he helps Kraven get over his addiction to the chemicals that makes him so nuts. It is possible that Spidy could save Kraven instead of beat him, opening the door for a Kraven Anti-Hero movie.

My thoughts on the Spidey suit for the Marvel Cinematic Univere (MCU), I want to see young Peter Parker in a homemade outfit, like Jon says, a kid would not make, or be able to make a suit that looks like the final well known Spider-Man outfit. I like the artwork though, but I do not think it's official. The artist gave the design some thought, like the fact that his fingers and toes are bare, makes sense to me, Peter doesn't know how to cover up his hands and feet and still be able to wall-crawl, the mask and sweater/hoodie he's wearing are my favorite part, a kid of Peter's age in the MCU would most likely wear a costume like this But I honestly believe that we must see the final well known red and blue Spider-Man outfit (with covered fingers and toes) we all know and love, but how will Peter Parker get it? It never seems believable to me that Peter makes it himself, so here's a believable idea, to me anyway,...Melvin Potter makes it for him, the same talented tailor that made the Daredevil suit for Matthew Murdock in the Daredevil TV show which off course is also part of the MCU. But why would Melvin Potter make it for Peter? Well, maybe Peter saves his life and in his gratitude Potter makes a suit for him, a suit for a hero.

You guys talking about the past, present, and future of CBMs next week is exciting to me. I have gone over it in my head recently and Schepp I have to agree that we are in thr Golden Age of it now. I can totally see Peter wearing a home made costume when he first starts out and then Tony give him the resources to make his own one. I really hope Tony won't make it for him but will just give him a lab to work on it himself. I want to see Peter being the genius he is and develop his own suit.
@rebley0039 жыл бұрын
One thing I like about this Spider-Man costume, is that it addresses one problem I;ve always had with the Spider-Man costumes. How does his wall crawling work? I get how it works as far as the fibers on his hand and feet, but do those hairs puncture through his gloves and shoes? This costume we see exposed fingers, toes, and heels. So as far as his wall crawling, I think this suit actually makes more sense than any we've ever seen

Huh. I just thought about this: Didn't they say that this batman V. Superman movie is "post-Commissioner Gordon"? That means Gordon is either dead or retired. Well, if Jena Malone is playing Barbara Gordon, wasn't she the new Commissioner in the Dark Knight Returns graphic novel? Maybe she's playing a young Commissioner who took her dads place? I know that's a bit far fetched because of her age, but it's a thought...

I believe John Schnepp is correct. Parker puts this costume together and is out there saving the day. Once Tony Stark brings him into the fold, he designs the new suit (maybe a couple...Iron Spidey?). He would then wear the traditional suit by the end of Civil War and then onto his own movie.

re Spidey's suit: I'm torn cuz if Sony's gonna reboot for the 3rd time, I'd rather they unveil a reprised 21st century Ditko costume in their next film. The Parker that Steve Rogers meets in Captain America Civil War should obviously be a punk kid that reminds Rogers of himself before he took the serum. They both don't like bullies. They both know what comes with great power. I want that meeting to make Rogers feel 16 again, and by the time Rogers is done I want Parker to feel just a little bit like he deserves to stand alongside the rest of them. It should be more than a cameo, but less than a major subplot. I really just wanna see Cap & Spidey stand toe to toe and get at a glance where the other is coming from. I imagine something vaguely like this conversation in the middle of the movie: twenty goons surrounding just the two of em. "You from Brooklyn?" Steve punches a guy. "Queens." Peter punches a guy. "Forest Hills?" Steve punches a guy. "Yeah, how'd you..?" Peter punches a guy. "-even know I'm from the boroughs?" "Well I.." Steve punches a guy. "Forest Hills used to remind me of Brooklyn. That was a long time ago, though." The fight continues without words, until Steve and Peter run out of goons for a second, cuz they're all on the ground. A couple few are getting back up tho. Steve and Peter now stand in the eye of a fist hurricane, and it's about to pick back up. Steve goes on, "You been cracking wise. You sound like ..guys I used to know." He means himself, but he doesn't come right out and say that. "Uh.." "Not cracking wise now. Why is that?" "You're Captain America. I'm tongue tied." Steve shrugs. "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn." They each take down a couple bad guys a piece, in such a way as to send a bit of awe and fear in the surrounding crowd, still licking their wounds and less antsy to get their butts kicked a second time. "You got a mean left hook, but you telegraph it." Steve notices a guy behind Peter. "Tele-?" Peter ducks the guy that was behind him (spidey sense). Cap grabs that goon's fist, then spins the guy around. Uses him like a prop to show Spidey a technique. "-Don't swing wild. You need more control. Like dis..." Steve punches the guy. Peter observes this. It is noticeably better than what he's been doing. Uses less energy. Closer to the chest. Better use of force. His scientist mind can do the math in half an instant. Rogers is absolutely right. Peter's been flailing. Effective, but messy. "Gee! Thanks!" Peter punches another guy, like he was just shown. "Don't mention it." Steve kicks a guy. Then the movie goes on. I don't need much more than that. However, if John Campea's right, and the Spidey we see in Civil War has been running around for awhile, and he's got his origin story behind him, then we'll need to see him fully realized. So that drawing doesn't make any sense. I like the look in the art tho. That'd be good if we're talking Sixteen Candles Ferris Bueller Breakfast Club Peter Parker in the Sony movie, but not if Campea's right about Civil War Spidey.

The only reason I can think of about the F4 embargo is they are limiting the chance of some MAJOR spoiler/spoilers from the movie. For Spider-man I really hope they focus on b-level villains while Peter is in highschool until his graduation and college career. It would be great progression and it'll keep the movies lighthearted and it won't have devastating impact on the entire MCU. Maybe the first few films they can have Mysterio, Shocker, or Tombstone running organized crime sending henchmen after Spider-man. In college they can get more into Oscorp villains, and Venom. Also a love triangle between Peter, Gwen Stacey, and MJ is something I desperately want. They can take a page out of Archie with that one and it'll totally fit.

Spiderman. Batman. The Hulk. Dead Pool. The Xmen. Superman. One of these characters is not the same as the others, one of the characters doesn't belong... All but one have this in common: Multigenerational fan base stretching back to those where where kids and teenager in the 1960s. The Dead Pool Movie will be what it will be - which will be similar to say the Dare Devil Movie. It simply won't have the interest beyond the teenage to 30 somethings who do movies anyway. Its the extra draw for the 40 and up crowd and their mature discernment of character interaction, emotional responses in situations, the movies HAVE to be "more" than popcorn popping 6 week run flicks because the audience base the producers KNOW will be drawn by characters 50 plus years in media will have high standards for.

I always wanted to know how Peter Parker was able to purchase all the materials he needed to make all the webbing that he used in his webshooters. And especially after Spider-man becomes known to the world then people would start deconstructing the remnants of webs he leaves behind and start trying to find someone getting such large amounts of the materials needed to make the stuff. Tony Stark especially would have wanted to find out cause the stuff is strong enough to hold the Hulk yet light enough to carry around on your wrist.

I think that spider man costume or something very similar is gonna be in the movie. The statement about spider-man has been around doing spider man things doesn't do enough for me. Peter could still have a slow progression, realizing that worked that didn't in the costume, not to mention cost he's suppose to be a kid, not a lot of money (also giving Iron Man giving the Iron Spider suit scene a nod from the comics; In Tony giving Peter the costume we all are more accustom to or even the Iron Spider suit, though I don't think the later likely.) I really want to see the costume we all know and love and I really hope they do...but that image has already grabbed me I want to see him wear it in civil war.
