Love this song. Last week I was shoveling snow and this came on the radio I sang all the words out loud and my neighbor looked at me gave me the nod and started singing with me.

I love this song. My dad and mkm use to sing this song to each other. My dad was the "bad guy". We wpukd laugh so hard at them playing this out. May momma rest easy. This was one of my favorite songs. I'm 37 and now I play it and my kids sing it. They get in trouble for something that isn't that serious not really trouble but get a talking and they will burn out with this song making me roll laughing sometimes. Teenagers can be trolls. My dad will go well that's their story and they are wricking to it. Can't be mad. He helps them get in trouble. Lol

this song holds a very interesting memory for me. my parents were upset about something that either my brother or i had done. it had a very specific time stamp on when it happened. when i found out what that time stamp was i pointed out it was right at the start of one of my favorite shows and there was no way i was going to miss it. when i pointed that out my mom knew i was right cause i had told her everything about that episode. my brother having definitive proof laid out before him tried to spin something and this song happen to come on the radio. it wasn't funny at the time but looking back on it makes me laugh

I saw Collin Raye in concert back in the summer of 1994(?). He puts on a great show, and sings an incredible version of The Eagles' 'Wasted Time'. I remember that the Eagles country tribute album 'Common Threads' (1993) had just come out, and Collin was heartbroken that his song wasn't chosen to be on the album. After hearing him sing it live, I can promise you that the album producers made a grave error.
