How could anyone dislike this? My God, this is real country, not the craptastic garbage they call country these days.

This song was about me and my boyfriend! Ranch work all day and jeans and pearls at night, I always march to the beat of my own drum and the two of us colored out side of the lines, sometimes him more than me. Always an electric energy between us especially when swing dancing. Love this song.

Same here man. I am 20 now and have never had a girlfriend. Always wanted somebody, but they all either don't talk to me or are far too crazy for me. I am a pretty boring guy, I want to wait for my spouse until our wedding, which scares everyone away. I do have a car though! 1967 fairlane 2 door, If she likes real country music and hot rods she sounds like my kind of girl!

Ah real country... so so missed. The song was right. There was a "Murder on Music Row". Sigh. I love that some artists respect the older artists but these new artists? It's definitely not country any more.

@tzimmerhakl9 жыл бұрын
I realize that. I was banking on the fact that the reader of my comment would have the intelligence to identify the fact that when I (sarcastically) wrote cover, what I really meant was lyrical theft. Thanks for ruining the sarcasm of my comment by making me explain it.

hey I'm not sayin i like all the new country artist now days but hunter hayes and some others are pretty good, they may not be as great as Collin Ray, travis tritt, toby Keith and the many others that i love and grew up listening to. but new artist will always be unlike what we grew up with and know execept to those who are growing up with them. so try not being a square peg trying to fit in the ever ironic round hole and embrace newer artist!

The melody sounds a lot like Smugglers Blues by Glenn Fry.
