James clement was vice captain of Collingwood and won two best and fairests as a defender and was a two time all Australian I believe. He’s without a doubt better than half the players on this list.

@@TheLaughingMagpie we did but we also got Brodie holland. Both played over 100 games for the pies. We gave up pick 25 for geeenwood, who was good, but not half the player clement was. Clement was also a better player than Daniel Motlop who was pick 8 in that draft.

Tom Mitchell should be top 5 and higher than Bobby Hill. One of the very best exponents ever at what he does. Collingwood doesn’t win without Mitchell in 2023, made all the more evident considering how poor the Pies midfield was this year with him injured. Don’t think it was necessary for my Hawks to get rid of Titch, would be a lot more confident going into this Friday’s night elimination final with Tom Mitchell in our side.

Another great effort Anthony - as I often say, I don't know how you find the time. Having said that, I don't know how Jack Crisp isn't in there. I would actually have him at No. 1. They paid nothing for him really and he used to be referred as 'steak knives' - just a deal sweetener. I'm not sure that the Pies would have won the Grand Final without him and let's remember he's played God only knows how many games in a row.

I was looking to see if Medhurst was mentioned. Had all the ability but no consistency at Freo but hardened up at the pies, tackled better was a lot less flashy but a lot more consistent. One of the best deliverers inside 50, mastered the across the body 45 degree kick
