Let's revise briefly: 1. The particles must collide to react 2. They must have sufficient energy to break and make a new bond 3. They must collide with the correct orientation

Sir collision frequency depends directly upon the number of concern molecules according to its equation.So(for me)if we change the concentration of reactants frequency of collision changes if frequency of collision changes rate constant changes(as by Arhenius equation) if so , then why we always say rate constant is independent of concentration of reactants? Plz Sir explain this to me i really need the ans🙏

@Chemistryuntold
@Chemistryuntold 4 жыл бұрын
yes a lt of difference
@codebroz_
@codebroz_ 3 жыл бұрын
Threshold energy ... Minimum amount of energy of reactant to react and survive as product Activation energy .... Energy required to activate the reactant molecules for reaction .... 200j is thre.energy but reactant has 50 j itself from beginning so we can say that reactant needs 150 j energy to react and that 150j is activation energy 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
