Ambient,haunting, dark and atmospheric... everything that christian hip hop has shied away from. This is really a step of up for the subgenre in the direction that shows bolder moves are being made artistically.I am referring to the sound, lyricism and the video....Top Notch!

Man this song and vid are amazing. I been rocking with collision since day one, buying everything ya put out, and I'm so hype that it's only gettin better. I knew Collision was a game changer since Wake up, and the growth from ya every year only confirms that sentiment.

Nice work guys. Just want to say how proud I am of all of collision, you all have grown dramatically in the spirit and you will continue to grow in music. Since day one I knew this record company was one to look out for, everything you guys do is very specific and detailed, making sure your glorifying righteousness in all your music. Continue building in CHH, because at the the end of the day, Yahweh gets all the praise, all the honor and all the glory. With Love from south ALL -ONARI

I just wanted to say for @CollissionRecords This is what "Christian Hip Hop" is missing on a large scale. Music that represents the faith but ALSO has "good vibes" and a "dark sound." There is a lot of feel good, teenage, "Christian Hip Hoppy" type of songs and a lot (not all) sound the same. I say all that to say, you guys are making great music and I hope you guys continue to grow and allow your artists to grow into their own skin as seen by Dre and Alex. Letting them be themselves and not have to fit the mold (kinda like what Dre did for Arena lol. Sorry. However, he was totally his sound on Maybe One Day). Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to encourage you guys. Praise God.

Prophet Smith I totally agree with you, we need more true & good vibes music in CHH not just repetitive trap songs that all sound the same. Collision Records is one of the few record labels actually pushing a good, pure & deep truth, praising God whilst also uncovering the depraved aspects of the human heart.
@ANOINTEDBALLA9 жыл бұрын
Prophet Smith its funny that you say that. The issue is that at first when cross movement came out, we needed a genre for the christian. Now we have swung christian rap aka HHH to cater towards the non christian. The problem is that there has not been no middel ground to cater to both. Now the christian is lacking mature artist with lyrics that acutally mean something. In result, everything is watered down...I guess its kinda like most churches nowdays huh?
@yolobabyy79 жыл бұрын
Carter Property Solutions That is very true. Compare Lecrae's Rebel album to Anomaly. The difference is almost unbearable
@Ktrain02189 жыл бұрын
Carter Property Solutions I wouldn't say that, I think its a matter of what artists your looking at. Humble beast has plenty of artist that are unadulterated when it comes to the word such as Eshon Burgundy, Beautiful Eulogy, and Jackie Hill Perry. You also have Lampmode that goes hard in their music as well.
@ANOINTEDBALLA9 жыл бұрын
Ktrain0218 I agree. Eshon is my FAVORITE rapper honestly and Lampmode is great. They are very theological and have sound doctrine. What I am saying is that when you listend to christian rap now days, the average artist is trying to reach the streets and everyday life...aka the non-believer. 3-5 years ago, there wasn't anything for the christian to listen to and then after Da Truth joined crossmovement, the genre begin to grow. Those guys have such sound doctrine in their lyrics that they were practically preaching from their songs. Music for the christian. You can argue that there used to be a "standard" where now, there isn't. Much like the gospel being preached across the pulpit.

Josue Arellano Within the context of the visual album, it's ok. Sound wise, it's not doing anything for me. I don't think it's anywhere near what I've seen from Collision before.
