Re the crown turning easy. I work in a hospital. I went the dental side and got the tiniest elastic bands used for braces. Put one over the crown. Stops it moving so easy

I agree with you, regarding a large screen which offers great ease of reading, regarding the sensitivity of the button which changes the screens, normally you have an option which allows you to block the screen of your choice

I wish there were a way to lock the watch face, that would improve this watch by a lot. Then let us get rid of the built in faces that can't be removed and I'd give this watch 5 stars.

Hey Chuck It arrived, I have to say I'm very impressed, the crown is sensitive and very easy to activate but it isn't a deal breaker, you really don't appreciate how big the face is until you see it in person. If I can get a week of life out of the battery i will be delighted.

A week? Good luck running it down that fast! I took mine off the charger on Jan 26 at 5pm. Right now, Feb 8 at 3pm it's at 11 percent. If it lasts another 2 hours I'll have gotten 13 full days out of it. I hope they make a version 2 of this watch without the crown issue and that let's me get rid of the built in watch faces. I'd happily pay more for that.

I like the idea of it turning by maybe add a dead zone to options in the app? Like turn it so far before it activates

It could be done in a firmware update, say requiring 5 clicks of the switch before changing the face, not only would that reduce accidental changes it would also make it a heck of a less touchy when you do want to change the face via the crown. But also at the factory level they could either put a tighter O ring on the crown shaft or a retaining clip that preloads it.

Hey guys! Sensitivity of the crown should be fit via lock/ unlock function via software update soon, hopefully. There's no GPS inside the watch, tracking is possible only via connected smartphone. Also there is no compass function, sometimes it is mentioned in the advertising text. Akso the watch has no Amoled display. Battery life up to 20 days is great. Nevertheless for the price of round about 20 to 25 buckd this watch is unbeatable good. I love it. One point I would NOT trust the measured values of blood pressure. It seems to me only randomly values. Keep attention to the text at the back of the box! Good time to all of U🎉😊

If your info about the crown is true I'd buy another one. But IMO this is a hardware problem and needs a hardware solution, but any fix is better than no fix. I found the blood pressure to be pretty accurate for me. Every watch I've had with this chipset seems to be pretty accurate with blood pressure. Thanks for sharing!

I see these comments are a number of months old. This watch was delivered to me two days ago and I'm thinking they must've done a software update because I have no problem with the Watch Faces changing via the wheel, in fact, the only way I can change a watch face is Buy depressed in the screen and sliding left or right. Also, battery percentage is readily viewable now. The only thing that's driving me crazy is how to delete a Watch Faces once it is on the watch. I try some just to see what they look like, and I seem to be stuck with them. This watch cost about US$35 now but honestly it absolutely without question gives my Iwatch a run for the money. The screen is beautiful.

Well, if there's a software update they didn't push it out to existing watches, because I was wearing mine a few days ago and it still does it. I've got two of them and they both do it and the last one I bought when I did the comparison video with the Lige T30, so it's a newer one than the one in this video. If you read lower in the comments you'll see other people with the same issue, also about 4 months ago someone said a feature to turn on or off the crown rotation was "coming soon". But if it came, it didn't come to either of mine. There's no way to remove a watch face, all you can do is swap out the one they let you change. Thanks for commenting!

@@3rdpig yes, I have read all of the comments and I see that it is a universal problem. If one was so inclined, one could go to the software on their phone and tap on "upgrade". Here the app will check the software version number on your watch and tell you if it is current or not. My version number is MOY - D223-2.0.8 and it is telling me that is the current version, I can only assume (dangerous I know) that if it wasn't the current version, I would have the opportunity to upgrade through the app.

If I knew I'd share, but other than doing a full reset of the watch and making sure it's updated I don't know. I've got two V69's and one V99 and they all count steps pretty accurately. You might consider having a friend wear yours just to make sure it's not something more specific to you.

I'd call the speaker in the V69 "barely adequate". If you want a watch with a great speaker then check out my review of the Lige T30, it's got a phenomenal speaker for a $25 smart watch and TBH, works better than the V69 and all you lose is a 1/4 inch in screen size.

Sadly, Watch Face always changes. Software does not allow you to lock in Watch Face.

@@3rdpig just last night, I was admiring the watch face that I had on it and suddenly without any movement whatsoever, (and I wish I could had filmed it as it occurred as proof), the watch face suddenly changed on its own without me even touching it as I was watching. That absolutely, positively, unequivocally had nothing to do with that Crown. I contend it is actually a software issue, with the crown being an issue as a secondary problem Sir. I certainly hope they come out with a Software Update to correct that annoyance. Thank you for your wonderful Instructional Review Sir.

I checked my V69 and the crown doesn't change the faces like yours, whether it's a setting or if they have made a change to the software I'm not sure, but it def doesn't do what yours does.

Yes, the one in this review is still working. I removed the crown from it to see if I couldn't stop the random face changes, but that hasn't stopped it from working or being usable. And there has been a firmware update that requires 3-4 rotational clicks of the crown before the face changes. So while the issue is still there, that mitigates it to a great degree. I liked it enough that I bought a second one. But take a look at my review of the Lige T-30, it's only a few bucks more, it doesn't have a rotating crown, it's more responsive and you can store more custom faces on the watch.

@@3rdpig Well, about random face changing, my V69 will be arrived next week so i've contacted the company three days ago about the issue, they didn't respond yet, but i've saw a comment said that if you go to Settings >> Display then uncheck quick view it will fix it, check it out please and tell me if is true

For this price there is no GPS on the watch but it is on the smartphone application which allows you to record your route which can be displayed on the watch, in principle that is it

No, "quick view" is the setting that causes the screen to light when you raise or rotate your wrist to look at the watch. It does not give an always on display.

Good god, last year I bought my daughter a samsung galaxy watch, It cost over £400 (GBP) and the battery lasts a day, this looks like one hell of a bargain.

Kind of crazy, isn't it? I've got an older Samsung galaxy watch too, I bought it refurbed but it was still over $200 and I could never get two full days from the battery. If it wasn't for the rotating crown on this watch I'd buy a couple of spares. Hopefully they'll fix that issue.

@@3rdpig I also have a V69, yes, the application can display measurements and similar things well and clearly, but the smartwatch settings are tragic. Why can't I clear the watch faces or use just one. At least I haven't figured out how to delete them and they keep changing because of the wheel. It also bothers me that it is not possible to set at least one button on the watch to the function I would like, but that will probably be the software in the smart watch. Otherwise, the watch is ok, but the software imperfections make it a lot worse.
