Colne Valley Railway

Sunday 23rd October 2016. the end of season steam day on the Colne Valley Railway with 1952 built Hunslet WD190 providing the traction.

Very nicely filmed and edited with good titles. Particularly loved the low-level telephoto shots of the train & smoke through the trees. A very nice video indeed!

Many thanks for your comments. It's interesting as I now dislike what I did with the titles. Personally, I think my Colne Valley Railway at War is a much better video, but viewing figures seem to disagree with that.

@@UKHeritageRailways Only mentioned the titles as some videos have no titles at all, but of course yours does. Having done the filming us camera peeps are often "to close" to the footage, so it's nice to hear other peeps points of view - good or bad! Best Dave.

Well edited, great little video, I will try to remove a few more trees for next visit, the willow just the other side of the river was cut down last year looks like I am going to revisit that area with the chain saw again.

@@UKHeritageRailways my 7 Yr old son wrote that. He loves trains. He meant to say to start with the thumb nail of the video looked boring. But once he watched it he thought it was amazing.
