Absolutely stunning sunset. I've heard of Perth but have never visited. It's a beautiful little town.

Hi CJ. My wife has started eating overnight oats now too! we enjoyed your endorsement for local businesses! I have recently found videos by a fellow called Sven Yrvind, he makes his own boats and sails solo around the world. His channel is interesting and each video has a little tip. One recently was how he prepares his oatmeal mix, that is all he eats while sailing for months on end, all weighed out and vacuum packed. Owen

Awesome! I still eat it every day at home too. That sounds really interesting, I'll have to check him out!

I've been following this series of videos and really enjoying it. This one is a gem. Last year I went to Perth and rented a canoe from Perth Outfitters and paddled down the Tay canal and back. It wasn't as beautiful a day as you had, but I so enjoyed it that this year I got a kayak and have been out on the water all summer. Some day I'll do the Rideau all the way with tips from your videos. Cheers.

That's awesome! The Tay Canal was certainly one of the highlights of my trip. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.

I like to turn fish and chips into wraps (when I have soft shell tacos) the combination of fish, chips, Cole slaw and sauce is a great combination.

Zebra mussels may be an "invasive species", but because the entire contents of the Great Lakes is filtered through them on a regular basis, the water is cleaner, sun reaches deeper depths, aquatic plants are flourishing, creating habitat for fish and allowing diverse creatures, from Bald Eagles to Black Bears to flourish.

For sure, I've heard that point made before.

how did you secure your canoe and paddle in perth? bike lock?
@cjhoyle3 жыл бұрын
I used a bike lock which I looped through a metal tab on the dock, and locked to the yolk of the canoe. I just stashed my paddles under the canoe.

portage 2 locks at sunset. I would love to see sunset to sunrise clips. Hotel motel or a tent. What can I expect worse case?
