This thing needs to be tuned. The chimes are not in tune. I think clock makers are tune deaf. My clocks are not out of tune. This clock sounds like a silverware fight.

jmoss99 they are not out of tune most chime rods sound like that. The German movement always has a good sound to it. Clock makers know the sound based on the length of the chime rods.

Mitchell Robless if you look beside the number 9 or IX on this clock it chimes and strikes then strikes the hour no chime then chimes without striking the hour as well as nighttime shut off
