Colonial Williamsburg

This bus was originally in service for a church in South Carolina. Colonial Williamsburg purchased it and ran the bus on its various shuttles around the historic site. After Colonial Williamsburg retired the bus in the early 2000s, a private limo company in Richmond, VA operated it. Then it was sold to a private owner who began converting it to RV use but stopped due to family obligations.
This bus has less than 200,000 miles on it (checked on the hubodometer), so it has a lot of life left! I plan on restoring the bus to near-original configuration. Commonwealth Coach and Trolley agreed to accept Colonial Williamsburg #8403 into its fleet for preservation.
This is a 1984 GMC RTS (T8J-604) with a Detroit Diesel 6V92 engine and Allison V-730 transmission.

Some light mechanical repairs are in the queue, along with an interior cleaning/detail. Then the interior will be restored to near-original configuration.
