Quick FYI in case anyone wonders: the slower stylus performance shown at 1:23 is because a setting called "Global Handwriting" was disabled. With this setting turned off, stylus performance is degraded in 3rd party apps. With "Global Handwriting" enabled, performance in 3rd party apps matches what's shown at 6:00

I hate the device and have gone back to my kobo, ghosting and the book covers are nowhere near as clear as the kobo Color,I wish I’d never had bought the thing.

Both the Kobo Color and the Bigme B751C use the same display panel. It may have been the mode you had the Bigme set to. Clarity is greatly reduced in the “Extreme” mode.

@terriersforever23 I’m using the HD256 mode with the “Comic” color mode. All the footage in this video was shot with the screen in this color mode.

I can see your lav mic but it sounds like you're calling in on a phone or speaking over a plane intercom. Is your sample rate set to 8k? I'm sorry, but your audio is distractingly bad; I'd expect better above 100 subs, let alone over 10k. As for the product, it looks surprisingly good. I laughed when I heard 20fps, but it actually looks usable. Very interesting tech.

W..what? 256 colours out of a palette of 4096??? Have we gone back to 1991 and VGA graphics? Why is it using a palette of only 256 colours?

100% agree with you friend. By my side I have and ipad mini 5 (wifi) with a mat protective screen. I reproduce the same look and effect with all the power behind. Only two issues : the weight around 300g and the battery autonomy (more or less a whole day)

I used to read from displays for long time ,but trust me nothing better than buying book from shop or even online , just to make you feel the real mode of reading and be focuses on what in your hand more than just another piece of amazing Tech could take your mind to many different corners

I used to read physical books a lot and no, for me reading on a display is a lot more comfortable. Gone are the days of uncomfortably trying to hold a heavy object in the air. Or straining my arm as I try to read something while lying on my side. Used to be that sometimes I spent more time fidgeting around the with book than doing any actual reading. I just don't understand what do the paper enthusiasts get from it. Nowadays if I buy a paper edition of anything, it's just for showing it off on a bookshelf, I would still just read the book from a reader/tablet/phone/laptop.

I have thousands of digital comics. It's hard to keep physical copies in order. Not going back
