I heard from some video that you should use rec.709A with mac? There was a issue that in rendering the colors go back to poop if it is not rec709A.

@JorisHermans2 жыл бұрын
Ah! I think I understand. Some Mac apps do display rec709 videos very dark. But this is only when watching on a Mac. I've noticed that too but once uploaded to YT it looks fine. So no problem for me. But I'm gonna try rec709a next time! 🙏🏻💥

@@JorisHermans kzbin.info/www/bejne/maitnGSIfb5khqs this one. It probably has something to do with the fact that resolve uses QuickTime engine and when exporting to e.g. KZbin, it has to have some tags along with it.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using this workflow for a long time and has saved me so much time. A few things to add, you can save that workflow so every time you open a new project, davinci wide color gamete will be ready. Also regarding nodes, a simple 4 node setup will help you add the final touches for color correction. First node balance, 2nd temp and saturation, 3rd contrast and 4th levels. Boom. Now you’re grading like a pro

Don't apply NR until at the very end. And then you can also judge more accurately if your video really needs NR cause a bit of grain looks fine. At least in my opinion.
