Looks like a really fun time lol. Oh the joys and eagerness to get back to camp when the weather turns to crap and everything is wet and everything you touch is wet! Glad to see you were wearing some gaiters when crossing the creek. Bummer about the bull but looked like left to right was right on in regards to your aim.

Fortunately, after Tuesday, the weather was much drier. We almost didn’t bring Brian‘s stove and tent combo which means we would’ve been in a very small tent without the means to dry things off and warm up, that would’ve been bad.

From the majority of the colorado archery elk hunts I watch...its got some bipolar weather....not sure if thats my cup of tea lol.

It changes quick in the mountains. A few years ago, it was ridiculously hot, and we left that area. A day later they had a foot of snow.
