My very first time as an official working nurse was with treating a stage IV colon cancer . It was tough guiding and staying positive. I had to step away from oncology after 3.5 years because it seemed unrelenting, as younger patients continued to come in with new diagnosis of cancer. I am convinced it’s something in our food. I wish there was an in depth study on this couple. I am starting to believe there is no such thing as a coincidence.

I would have liked to have learned more about their diet and lifestyle. I agree that there must be something in our food. But I want to know which foods? It's a safe bet that highly processed and fast foods are a problem. The standard American diet, is sad.

That was my first thought too. I think the more plant based and clean your food, environment, and lifestyle are the better. My Son had been having side aches and he thought it was his appendix. On November 1, 2018 all our lives changed! He went to the E.R., they took X-rays, then a CT scan, then an MRI, because they wanted to be sure of his diagnosis. The Doctors broke the news to my Son and Daughter in Law, He had liver and colon cancer. My Son was just 40 years old. These are the two most silent killers in the cancer family. Our first appointment with his Oncologist told us that these two cancers combined would most likely kill him, then he said something that gave us hope. He said: “Make a liar out of me. To make a long story short, my Son did make a liar out of him, with chemo, a liver dissection and they took out a 1/3 of his colon out, he is cancer free. He is starting on his Fifth Year. They monitor him closely. I am praying for both of you, prayers also counted a lot. If each person said a prayer and asked their friends to say a small prayer, that’s a lot of prayers. I know healing can be done, I witnessed it personally. Don’t ever give up hope! God Bless You!

I feel your pain and I have lived it. My first surgery for stage 3 colon cancer I was supposed to die I was only 46. I opened my eyes after the operation and I was like wow this is not paradise? The ceiling of the hospital brought me back to reality when I felt the foreign plastic bag adhered to my side. Four months later I learned I also had uterine cancer. Living is way harder than death But it is so good to live. Two years after my first surgery I got the colostomy reversal and had a total hysterectomy. Six months later I lost my job. This living is not a sad story. Yes at times I’m so tired and my body resembles Frankenstein but I am happy. How do we continue when we don’t know what our tomorrows bring? I will share what gave me strength and endurance. Even the nurses were fearful of my wounds so I wrote these scriptures down on the nurses whiteboard to give us all hope. 2 Corinthians 12:10 So I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in times of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful. Phillipians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen.

Wow you must be very strong to get through that with such a great attitude. Is it legal for your job to let you go when you are undergoing medical care for a serious disease? Is your niece a believer in Jesus? I can't imagine going through what she is without him! He is the prince of Peace, the Lord of Lords, King of Kings and our only hope for a home in heaven when we die. John 14:6. We are all a hot mess ( sinners) we have a sin problem and yet we serve a Holy God who made a way for us to be reconciled to him through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus as the Sacrafice for our sin, he paid the price , the debt we deserve and allows forgiveness and eternal life for all those that believe through faith in him, turning to him from your life of sin and humbly trusting in him to have paid that debt for you. Ask for forgiveness and for a new life in Christ and he will save anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord. Tell your niece that she needs Jesus and he is waiting to hear from her . My mom became a believer after her stage four diagnosis of an aggressive cancer and God is still allowing her to be with us 3 1/2 years later and it is in 5 places now. She wasn't walking for last two months but now she is having extended physical therapy because she is walking more! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I had colon cancer in 2004 it was in stage 1 protruding into second stage but hadn't broken through. I had the full surgery from belly button down a good foot long (I was a big woman). The doctor took three inches on both sides of the cancer. I didn't have to have any treatments. When my cancer symptoms started I knew I had cancer but not what kind for my late father had the ones I had been experiencing in 2004 his was in the late 60's and his cancer had not been found within a two year period and became a death sentence. So I knew I had up to two years to save my life. My symptoms was *Light headness that made me freeze up *My ears hummed during *Then my head dropped back (thankfully I was sitting on the bathroom stool at the time) *My father went through that, plus it will only happen a couple of times. *I was in the car and my sister turned the heat on again my head dropped back I became nauseated with dry heaves. *Within that week I went to my doctor he told me I was just fat, *I changed doctor 's it took two weeks to get a new one by this time I had blood in around my poop. *Rest is history. *It is June 11, 2022 I had my 17 year test in June of last year I am still colon cancer clear.

If the couple reads this please know that I am praying for you both! My mom has an aggressive stage 4 cancer that is in four places. When she didn't have an appetite she came with me to church and my Pastor and the Elders prayed over her and she miraculously got her appetite back and has been alive through blood clots and covid after 3 years! I know that Jesus still performs miracles physically but most importantly he loves you both enough that he died on the cross so that you could be forgiven of your sins and be made right before a Holy God if only you will believe through faith and be saved turning to him recognizing that you are a sinner in need of a savior..(Forgiveness) and that we could never stop sinning on our own..it's a work of God! Jesus came to save those that were lost and he offers peace,love comfort and restoration in a new life and identity in him when you are born again. Please call upon the name of the Lord and be saved and spend eternity in heaven with God in what Jesus said was paradise!! May our loving gracious Lord draw you both close to him in truth and provide more time on this earth to enjoy your beautiful child and if it is his will to heal you both. Life is so precious, this tragic story should be enough to make everyone take a close look at what they are eating on SAD, Standard American Diet, and do all they can to eat only foods that fight disease, and avoid the rest. May this couple find comfort and happiness in the support of their families and friends. A book called, 'Radical Remission', by Turner, is one I found particularly inspiring and helpful.

I ate plant based, and vegan, also did intermittent fasting, exercised, did yoga, pilates ,and meditated for years, and was still diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, when people tell me I need to eat better, or change my way of eating because so-and-so wrote a book about it, and he/she cured their cancer it gets very frustrating. People with cancer have to hear this bs for years and I know they’re trying to be kind but it’s really not kind to have to hear it from others constantly.

To each his or her own! There are no guarantees in this life, and we are all different. Thankfully, it is working for me, and supported by more than a couple of handfulls of nutrition scientists. I am sorry you did not reap the rewards you were seeking.@@tammyslaughter9587

@@tammyslaughter9587 people spread that info around becuase they are subconsciously trying to convince themselves there is a cure should they themselves ever get sick. @tammyslaughter95872 жыл бұрын
@@sjordan7085 Of course there are no guarantees in life, I never expected guarantees, just thought I might be healthier than my friends eating cheeseburgers, steaks, and vast amounts of sugar and junk food. I received the cancer diagnosis, they didn’t.. Yes thankfully it’ll work for you until it doesn’t, then like in my case you throw all of that plant based food or other restrictive healthier food in the trash and start eating anything and everything you can just to keep the weight on and not starve to death, because the weight melts off rapidly with this and many types of cancers. The handful of “nutrition scientists” have to make money too. The naturopaths, and holistic nutritionist I used to use were extremely expensive and it didn’t keep me from getting cancer. Cancer is a very complex and complicated disease with much more involved than the food we eat. If all it took was eating plant based food and it cured and prevented cancer across the board for everyone we would have already eliminated most cancers. If it works for you great but it’s unkind to flippantly throw around misinformation that if only a person diagnosed and suffering from cancer ate better like you do, they would not have basically caused their own cancer or they would be healed which is simply not true and it’s not helpful. Unfortunately people with cancer are constantly bombarded with every kind of natural cancer cure imaginable so what you’re saying is not new or original. Hope you enjoy a long and healthy life!
@tammyslaughter95872 жыл бұрын
@@nastyniggatyreeq6136 Very good point! I totally agree, they want to convince themselves that others got cancer because they did something wrong such as eating the wrong foods.
