Congratulations to both of you. I also got my first pronghorn buck this year second pronghorn ever. I couldn’t go opening weekend but got him on the 10th about 3 hours into the hunt on public land.

Congrats...I didn't realize they are as small as they are. The fur is very bulky and makes them look bigger-bodied than they are.

@@RegularGuysOutdoors yeah, agree, and it’s hard to explain to someone, but they smell like corn chips (Fritos). It’s weird. I’ve always hunted elk but the family wanted to try pronghorn and I got one and they liked it so it’s on the list now…

Just because you didn’t hear an impact, doesn’t mean that it didn’t occur. You should’ve gone and checked for blood instead of just assuming that you missed.
