Alright the 6x6 definitely exceeds manufacturer expectations! This should be sent to their marketing department! Great video as usual❤

I've said it in a previous video you posted.. Those tires are killing the 6x6! The 6x6 will walk all over that trail with no winch out with the right tires.

I’d love to get some stickies like rockzillas, but I live in Montana and there aren’t really any technical trails to justify the softer compound tires. That plus I use this UTV for work a lot and put on a ton of miles. I’ve only had this machine for about a year and currently have about 2800 miles on it!

The other issue I do find with this particular setup is I usually have enough traction, but I high center. Or the “grind it til you find it” visco lok doesn’t engage properly….which, as you can see multiple times in this vid. If I had a proper front locker, this rig would be much more off-road worthy. Thanks for watching !

I know some billy goats that wouldn't dare trek up that trail! lol You da man with the 6x6 keeping up with those big Jeeps...slayed it!!!
@downbytheriver5012 жыл бұрын
Thanks, although there were definitely some lines and obstacles that are beyond the capabilities of this machine. Cleveland rock could possibly be done if I had a front locker, some sticky tires, and not caring if I total my UTV or not. That rock was no joke!

Cool vid. Been there in my International Scout. Really puts a rig to the test. There's a reason the sign at the bottom suggests 35" tires.

Ya no joke. I would have faired a bit better with 32s but then I’d have to re-gear. I’m working on possibly getting a long travel suspension built for it and hopefully be rolling on 33-34s eventually. That and a real front dif lock instead of the “grind em til u find em” visco lok garbage.

Hi Vic, We have really been enjoying your content. Would you please tell me where you got those mud flaps?
@downbytheriver5012 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The mud flaps on my truck or on my can am? For the can am, they’re OEM accessories from can am. As far as my truck, the guy I bought my torklift fastguns from put them on himself. Pretty sure they are just plain oversized mudflaps and he welded a square bar on, then attached the mud flaps to the bar. Really helps keep road grime/mud from hitting the underside of the camper and the trailer!
@itinertantparishioner80922 жыл бұрын
@@downbytheriver501 Thank you Vic! I thought they were custom,as I could not find anything just quite like it aftermarket. We need something like that to kepp the dirt down. It would also do well in protecting the trailer.. The back of our camper gets pretty dirty and this would really help with that.

Edge of your seat kinda stuff, but seriously, WHY? This has got to be the most expensive hobby/sport ever, and probably why we have roads. I really don't get it, but I'm glad you do Vic and it looked like you had a great time. Not sure about Zeda, heard her whining, or maybe she was cheering! That's some scary stuff for sure, don't think I could do it.
@downbytheriver5012 жыл бұрын
Because life is finite and you can’t take your money with you 😉 Besides that, it’s fun as heck! And yeah, Zeda is a drama queen and doesn’t like when I leave her in the UTV to go out and film. German shepherds are the original drama queens 😆
