Chapper about the wet and miserable start but did enjoy seeing Cottonwood Pass again. Wish y'all coulda seen the views from the pass on a clear day, the Sawatch Range is really impressive from that vantage point. Taylor Park too. Fun to see your walking tour of the town. BV's got some nice eateries and the Brown Dog Coffee was my favorite for breakfast or brunch when passing through. Impressive views after BV, and the wildflowers were eye popping!

@@DrJohn493 I really enjoyed my stay in BV and your right about the eateries. My favorite breakfast place was Jan’s Cafe near the hotel.

Beautiful high alpine areas on this segment. I could not stop laughing about the the description of how cold it was. (Kristy has me edit those comments out of our videos, lol) You were up there in elevation. Awesome lake up there that looks pretty fishy! Too bad about the weather. It can get scary up there not to mention having to dry off everything too. Hope you have better weather going forward. Have a great day.

Day 24 ended with a close bout with hypothermia. I was soaked and the temps were dropping. It stormed most all night and everything was wet. Thanks for watching!

I remember being scared for my life in that meadow right before Cottonwood when a hail and lightning storm showed up rather quickly. I had to run and dive into one of those small pine trees

I watched others just hiking on through lightning storms. More power to em. I wasn’t in that kind of hurry. lol.
