Colorado Transfer Linebacker Jaylen Wester Ranks in Exclusive Class in The B 12 Conference

Brothers Jaylen and LaJohntay Wester, former standout players from Florida Atlantic, are set to bring significant talent to Colorado football as incoming transfer portal players. LaJohntay, a wide receiver, impressed during the Buffs’ spring game, while Jaylen, a linebacker, joins Colorado as the second-highest-graded returning LB in the Big 12 Conference according to Pro Football Focus College. Jaylen earned an impressive overall grade of 84.5, just behind Iowa State’s Caleb Bacon (89.3). Last season at FAU, Jaylen played in 11 games, starting five, and recorded 55 total tackles, 7.5 TFLs, one sack, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups. In his freshman year, he had 58 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and an interception.
