Colorado ZR2- ProClips USA Phone mount install

I think this one is discontinued. Just 855584 and 855634 (the 2 vent frame) mounting bases are available now. The location of this ZR2 mount looks good, but I am guessing they had problems with it, as it’s not available anywhere. I went with the Angled Mount (855634) for my truck (the right-side vent). It arrives soon (possibly later today). I plan to use an Apple OEM MagSafe charger with mine via double-sided 3M tape. Did this on our ProClip Mount for our Suburban. Works great. The AC Vent actually helps keep the phone cool while charging on a hot day. 👍🏽

That stinks that it’s no longer available. I don’t want one that blocks the vents. This seemed like the perfect mount. Too bad it’s no longer available. 😡

I couldn't find the model number of the mount itself. Not the phone holder. Online all they have is 855634 or 855584. They both arnt the style you have for the Colorado.

So I ordered one for my 2019 ZR2. Watched your video a few times. Seemed super easy. Marred up my dashboard pretty good. The tabs that are supposed to fit snugly into the dash are too narrow and flimsy. Would never hold into place. The bottom tab never clicked into place. For me it’s a terrible product. Returning it for a refund.

Sorry to hear that! It was super easy to install. I truly enjoy using it. Maybe work with Proclips and see if maybe it was just that one bad mount.
