So glad the parents let him get his feelings out!

The best parents in the world for multiple reasons. This kid was so grateful and crying before he even put them on without knowing if they would work for him.

Awesome! It’s gonna be a crazy day when they have contacts like this, hopefully!

Every color blind person that tried those glasses broke down crying. From children to adults! This common reaction makes me wonder why all color blind people don't get free glasses! We are the richest country in the world, come on!

The rich don't get richer by giving out free glasses. 😑

Love the braided man bun formed into a mullet. Looks like a Hollywood version of a Viking woman.

@phlezk my ex had the same hair minus the mullet, and it was beautiful. It's not a style I'd prefer as a CIS male

And everyone watching, well at least the good decent folks - they suddenly felt their heart grow 100 times it size....

The cost would be my guess. I don't think these glasses are very cheap.

huh... the kid was sobbing with thankfulness before even trying the glasses, as if he had been told that he was really missing out. and after he put them on, he didn't seem very impressed. i've been colorblind for 60+ years and trying on those glasses might be a curiosity for me, but i don't see the big deal. i like the unique way i see the world. i have had much better than 20/20 vision and an exceptional eye for shape, texture, size, distance, etc. that others don't have. and i use the colors ~i~ see to create unexpected and unique art. sure, i couldn't have been an electrician, but i never cried over seeing color differently.

Doesn’t it depend where on the spectrum they fall? Some can’t see intensities, some only see shades of gray, others don’t see a particular color… frankly we’ve only really started research into eye health in the last few decades or so. Who knows what leaps and bounds into treatments and corrections we can make in the years to come.
