I'm assuming you could always bleach dark brown hair extensions too?! (I dyed the tips of my real hair which is brown, and I definitely had to use bleach). But I bet buying blonde extensions like Shan said would save you that step! :)

You make me smile...everytime. I can't get away with everything you can, being older, but I so admire your creativity. I think your freckles and your nose are gorgeous! It's weird, but I remember putting a lot more STUFF on my face when I was younger...now I'm much more selective, since a shedload of product seems to emphasize the wrinkles. I'd love to hear more about your skin care. Wish I'd paid more attention to it when I was younger...I was criminally neglectful until I hit about 35! Yay for extensions! I think I'm going to try this just to irritate the office manager at work...
