Our 4k tour of Idaho, a land of mountains, wilderness, and outdoor recreation. For Stock Footage of this video or any of our videos contact Info@TampaAerialMedia.com
Idaho is a colorful state, from the gorgeous oaks along the Salmon River to the distinctive blue football field of Boise State. We start in Idaho Falls, and travel west along the Rugged Snake River to Twin Falls and the amazing Shoshone Falls & Perrine Bridge, near where Evil Kanevil attempted his jump over the Canyon. We then travel to the State Capitol where the Boise River runs along the Boise State Campus.
Heading north from Boise to the mountains along the Payette River popular for tubing & Rafting. , then a the scenic drive of Rt 97 along the waterfront ending at beautiful Cour d'Alene. So Journey with us enjoying Gods creation as we explore Colorful &Rugged, Idaho. For more info see visitidaho.org/
So as you plan your Spring, Summer, & Fall Getaways, heres a suggestion Idaho. So many people especially in the east do no realize how beautiful this state is. We drove from Bozeman Mt to Idaho Falls mostly at night, this is a mistake, because it is an incredibly beautiful drive. We start with the Snake River in Idaho Falls in what is known as the Greenbelt, a system of trails with parks and waterfall in Idaho Falls www.idahofallsidaho.gov/. The spring is peak season to seee the falls at their best. Also. Check out also the Idaho Falls Zoo has lions, sloths, penguins, a petting zoo and more.
The Snake River at 1,078 miles long starts in Western Wyoming running along southern Idaho, encompasses 6 US states, ends at the Columbia River in Washington. It was over this river near twin falls in 1974 that legendary daredevil, Evil Kanievel attempted to jump in a Rocket propelled cycle. His Craft technically made it across but the parachute deployed prematurely, blowing him back into the canyon short of the north rim.The Perrine Bridge Stretches 1500 feet across the Snake River. It opened in 1976. It is popular for base jumpers from around the world seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush. One of the only structures in the US where you can base jump without a permit. Now lets head to the High Country on route 55 a very scenic drive along the Payette River. The Payette River popular for Tubing & Rafters, is a 82 mile long river which originates at Salmon River Mountains at elevations of over 10,000 feet and feeds into the Snake River so provides so pretty decent rapids.McCall is a nice cozy resort town on the southern shore of Payette Lake. A great place to stay. They have a super 8, that is one of the better super 8s I've been too, pet friendly, we did a review video here if you would like to check it.The most scenic way into Cordalane is to take Rt 3 to Rt 97 which runs along the east shore of Lake Cordalane the Lake scenery with a variety of tall Pines, & Spruces, is just unbeatable. You know you are officially in the North West when you see sea planes tied up on the docks. Coeurdalane is known for its water sports and trails in the Canfield Mountains & Cordalen National forests. See Coeurdalene.org for more info, so much to do here.I hope you have enjoyed our journey through this beautiful state. Coming up in the next few months, some great videos from the state of Florida. We are Tampa Aerial Media, we shoot travel videos across the USA. For stock footage or if you would like us to film your city, area, or venue contact us at info at Tampa Areial Media.com. Thankyou for Watching Colorful & Rugged Idaho.

Another beautiful video of a great Pacific NW state! It is a long way from Tampa, and a lot to cover, but you hit most of the spots. I love the nature trail beside the Boise River, across from the stadium, and river rafting in ID is great! I have not done Hell's Canyon yet, but would like to. Sun Valley in the Sawtooth Mountains is also quite scenic, as is the area north of Coeur d'Alene by Lake Pond O'Reille and Schweitzer Mountain (chair lift runs all year). I love the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and ate there and stayed there a few times. When I lived in Seattle, it was only about 4.5 hours away.

This video didn't truly show the extent of the natural beauty of Idaho. City of the rocks, massacre rocks, devil's canyon, Lava, crater's of the moon, the Tetons, there is just so much.

I grew up in this area, and now that older, I can't believe I was stupid enough to leave...still kicking self in butt for leaving such a coveted area that I grew up in. Now though, I doubt I could afford to move back there since Real Estate, rent, ect, everything, has gone up so much. Still kicking self in the butt for not appreciating what a beautiful area that was while growing up in it.

The best state I live but job hard to find. More people retired from California plus anti migration. Californian often being harassed to move out Idaho. It used to be lakes open free to public use but now mostly privatized

I want to visit for a weekend. Where would you say is the best place to visit as far as city or state or area of the state? I don't enjoy driving due to anxiety so I am hoping to visit a part that doesn't require significant driving.

I would say probably Cour d'Alene is the best if you can only go to one area. Not too far from Spokeane.

CdA is definitely the most spectacular! Take a seaplane flight over the lake, as it is wonderful! In addition, there is a golf course by the Coeur d'Alene Resort that has one hole where the green is a small island in the lake! If you are in ID in winter, Sun Valley in the south is very beautiful. The area north of CdA around Sandpoint and Lake Pond O'Reille is great as well, along with Schweitzer Mountain, where the chairlifts run even in the non- skiing season. It is a big state, so lots of ground to cover, including rafting on either the Salmon or Snake rivers (the latter being Hell's Canyon, and made famous in the old Robert Mitchum movie, "The River of No Return").

Please understand where hells canyon is cause that was white bird creek and the town of white bird hells canyon is the majority of Oregon and Idaho snake river border. Also you said salmon river mountains did you mean Patrick butte or the sawtooths and the payette is broken up into the north fork and south fork. Also once you drove through McCall and through new meadows you drove by the salmon river and probably should have stopped to look more than some drone shot of cherry creek rapid.

Yes it's nice but it's getting very crowded and the winters are bad and if your not use to the extreme cold and heavy snow then stay away. My family lives not far from Cordalene and they are tired of the winters so move to Arizona or Nevada or Texas or other states but the only part of Idaho where everyone moves to Southern Idaho which is the bottom of Idaho around the capital that area is mote tolerable as far as the weather.

Moving their the first. Coming from Nebraska, definitely too blue here. Just got off a tear of probation for not wearing a mask outdoors. I got a really good business opportunity in Boise with my cousin running a custom concrete business with a local of Eagle Idaho. If anyone can help me locate somewhere not super far from Boise, but still a bit rural and more inexpensive it would really help. Good-riddance Nebraska. The one thing I’m glad I got here is my work ethic and the mouth more harsh weather conditions. It will make it very easy for us Nebraskans to thrive

Haha, wait, what? You’re telling me Salmon River is North of Kendrick? Your shots are out of order. That white/grey bridge is Whitebird at the base of the Whitebird grade which has already left the Salmon River and is not in Hells Canyon. An Hour and a half North is Lewiston where you crossed the bridge over the Clearwater going back the way you came somehow.
