G'day, Ryan and Ali! I reckon there should be something better than just a 'like' button to hit! I LOVE this video, especially the dancing around the 'maypole' (boy, THAT takes me back!) for the solstice. Yes, I also loved the brief 'quiet!' to the cows that were just doing what they do naturally. Those nachos looked somewhat messy to eat..... you may have guessed that I've never eaten them, nor have I had burritos, nor the icecream that doesn't fall out of the container, when you turn it upside down. I'd be really interested to know how that makes it nicer to eat!! Congrats to Ali for her first 100-miler! Wow! That takes me back to 1967, when I rode up the coast of New South Wales from Wollongong to Brisbane. That was my first experience of bike camping/touring. I completed several 100-mile days on that trek. Keep up the good vibes, you two!

Started yet?? Hope you don't drown in all the G-D rain in the east the last several years, and still snowing now in the middle. Rain capes don't help me much at all. I get soaked from sweat anyway. Posted this question on an old Ryan video. Why the Treks? They don’t look comfortable. It looks like more aggressive positioning. What do you like better, pinion, derailleur or hub transmission and why? Thinking about upgrading but I defer to your experience. Loved the show so far. Ryan you are over your pay grade with Ali. She is a catch. :)

I am going to ride my bike from Cincinnati to Columbus this summer which is over a 100 miles. I have ridden that far twice in my life, once in 1977 and once in 2000 so it has been a while. I have been practicing 4 to 5 times a week spending 1/2 hour on a stationary bike machine and 1/2 hour on a stair climbing to building up my endurance. As soon as the weather gets better I am going to slowly build up to a hundred miles on my real bike which is also a Trek to make sure I can do it ok

What would you recommend for long, enduring trips that will be comfortable? I can purchase a new 2016, Roubaix for 1377 out the door. What are your thoughts on the Roubaix for bike touring? Thanks!
@duzer6 жыл бұрын
hi! I've toured on many types of bikes, and the most important part is being comfortable. Day after day, you wanna ride something that feels good, and doesn't hurt your body. Any bike can go thousands of miles. Invest in puncture resistant tires!
@137997311ful6 жыл бұрын
@@duzer , thanks for your time and input. You are correct, and I believe it to be so true, concerning comfort. One can ride the most exspensive bike, but if it cramps your body, you are toast! I'm gonna keep on testing out different road bikes at my local and distant bike shops. I'm sure there is a bike out there for me. By the way, I would rather watch you and Ali on your bike adventures than watch any kind of tv. You guys are very inspiring and funny. Your videos are top notch and I love watching them! Keep up the great work! Best, Frado
