I've always wanted to tell you this but never had an account until recently - your videos got me through the first stage of labour! There I was, with my iPad, in a hospital room while my partner ran back to the house to get things we'd forgotten - and watching your reviews section (it was the caran dache luminance - which I now own!). Really helped me focus on something other than pain. So, thank you! he's now 18 months old!

I actually wanted the set of neocolor2 in the wood case which would have been about $40 less at the time but she said and i quote "Im not paying over$200 for 'crayons'." My efforts to explain the finer details didnt work. Im not mad though! Im very happy.

+laitae yes! They do! They have all the same colors for the polychromos and the watercolor pencil. They also have I think 60 of the same colors for the medium hard pastels including the metallics.

Wow - And I got the 120 set - wood box or not I am thrilled to have them and happy birthday to you I know you’ve been wanting this for a long time - what do you do with all those pencils really I mean you have so many Albrecht Durers - Trust me I love mine- But there’s a lot of other pencils I adore using also and I have some wonderful pencil trays by Robax And the cases I keep my most expensive pencils in like my A.D.’s and others and then I just use mesh cups for the pencils I keep out or amusing for a WIP - I don’t have the space to use a tray so I can’t call my pencils out of the tins ..... I have a small desk and I won’t go out to the kitchen table I love my little coloring corner but to each their own and happy birthday again! I love seeing this ..... And I thought I was the pencil Hoarder LOL just kidding I would not ever put anybody down for collecting pencils colored pencils they’re very dreamy I love them all of them all of mine and the ones I don’t have yet which are very few LMAO!

I think its import for people to use what they have and love what they buy so i try to do that as well! I hope that answers your questions.

I'm going to buy either the 60 Polychromos or the 60 Albrecht Durer, but I can't decide which. When it comes to DRY coloring with the Albrecht Durer, how do you think they compare to the Polychromos? Are they just as smooth, and do they hold the same point? If so, that's what I'm getting... I'm falling in love with watercolor in my books!

+Simple Art for Adults oh I know! So they are the same. The Albrecht Dürer is softer. But the color is the same. The AD has a hex barrel. I know there are some people who do the AD and only use them dry. But I prefer the polychromos for using dry. They can also be used together. I’m doing that for my Instagram picture. Long story short if you plan to use them mainly dry get the polys. If plan to use them mainly wet then get the Albrecht Dürer.
